WW Barb for Season 22

I’ve been thinking that what if we use this season like last season, and just stack damage mitigation and defense, and forgo damage, and just bounce from pylon to pylon and letting the shadows kill everything.

Anyone try this already? What would be the best setup?

Ill answer your question about the clones first. The clones to deal a decent amount of damage but there is a soft cap at a certain point and they become useless. On top of that they are really dumb. From what I am being told they start to become useless at GR120 or so. As for the build, You want to run Crimson and band of might. Makes for easy mode 105s to start the season. Running crimson and no IP allows for all 4 offensive passives to be taken right away even with sub optimal rolls.

So what do you do when you don’t have any pylons? That doesn’t sound very fun TBH.

Well, last season it was just waiting for the timer. It was an idea, and I’m wondering if it’s viable?

The clones aren’t the AOE spam fest that the weather effects were, and since they’re Pylon dependent, they’re not as reliable. Just gear according to the guide stickied here and use the clones to your advantage whenever possible–until they stop dealing meaningful damage, in which case they’ll just be weird window dressing.

For Season 22, I’d still stick with the Core build and not include Crimons’s. True, the extra Cube slot will let you take BoM with Crimson, but so will Core and you won’t need to waste mats on crafting the armor pieces and re-rolling them.

Crimson’s will be very viable, but if you don’t have an efficient group that can net you lots and lots of bounty and crafting mats early on, I’d stick with Core until you’re ready to optimize into Crimson.

The Savages set is a lot of fun, but there’s a lot of clicking involved. I’m putting a Wastes set together to have an alternative (and for the set dungeon.)

I’ll probably playing spin-to-win before long!

Keep in mind that the wastes set dungeon is one of the most challenging/frustrating. Most barbs use the IK set, either with WW or HotA, since mastering it is super easy.
