I don’t really see the point of this limit. I often farm blood shards with one char to use for another, and 2 GR’s I have to quit the game and go and spend them, losing the group I was with. Why not just increase the limit to, say, 10,000?

Why don’t they just uncap it?
What are people going to do? Spend their shards on non season and get full primal ancients of the newest set/items a day before fresh accounts? Oh nooo.
It’s not like you stop people botting bounties for infinite cube rerolls.
You might even get more people playing the game if they have another number to arbitrarily increase.
