Would Imperius allow Inarius back into the High Heavens

Is this even a possibility after everything that Inarius has done and is still doing. Would killing Lilith or any of three Prime Evils be enough to placate Imperius? Or, is he forever banished regardless of what he does now. If demons are reborn in the burring hells and angels are whatever it is call with the Crystal Arch, it seems like it will never end. The Eternal Conflict will just continue. Why in the world do the supporters of Inarius think that they can go to the High Heavens with him? Do they know what Imperius thinks of them?

Honestly I was surprise that Inarius actually hoped/wants to return to the High Heavens, but then again Mephisto’s torture was simply that effective and/or terrifying especially when considering that Inarius was under said torture for thousand(s) of years.

As for Inarius returning to Heaven, it may happen if the council agrees on it (Auriel and Itherael vote for it), perhaps even without Inarius needing to kill Lilith or the Prime Evils. However, even if Inarius is allowed into the High Heavens, I doubt he’d ever be welcomed within it, and in fact would likely be shunned by most of the angels (similar to how Tyrael was treated). In fact, Inarius could somehow slay the prime evils (they’d still resurrect in due time), along with Lilith, and that still wouldn’t be enough to earn him a hero’s welcome.

As far as most angels are concerned, Inarius had committed the greatest sin an angel could commit, and that was the birth of the Nephalem. Not to mention that Inarius’ actions led to the current events: Partnership with Demons → Theft of the Worldstone → Creation of Sanctuary and Nephalems → Worldstone’s eventual corruption and destruction → Revival of the Prime Evil and Hell’s greatest invasion of Heaven → Malthael’s attack on Heaven → Malthael’s End

Sadly for Inarius, he has no true home left for himself. His replacement (angel that would take his place when he dies) would have a better shot at being welcomed into Heaven than Inarius.

Pretty much. At least unless the Source that enables their revival/replacement is removed. Which was what Diablo attempted to do when he was trying to corrupt the Crystal Arch. If Diablo had succeeded, then Hell would’ve truly attained victory and the Eternal Conflict would end.

It’s likely they know nothing of what Heaven perceives of them. In fact, they even seemed to believe that Inarius is their savior who had fought for them. Of course, I can’t fault them too much, since the World is in the state that it is, and some of those people are just trying to hold onto any kind of faith or “salvation” that they can grab ahold of.

Hell no. The fact that he wants to go back to heaven so badly just shows how delusional and crazy he is.

More importantly I want to know who let him out of Mephisto jail, cause as far as we knew he was being tortured by Mephisto for the rest of eternity as per the sin war agreement.

That’s certainly the question indeed. My current guess is that Inarius had managed to either escape on his own, due to no one being there to watch/torture him (since Mephisto was dead/currently in the process of reviving, and the jailer who Mephisto had left to watch over Inarius had apparently left Hell and is on Sanctuary.), or Inarius managed to bribe or enlist a demon to assist him in escaping.

My guess is some kind of shenanigans went on when Mephisto got put into the black soul stone. Which is why Mephisto is back on sanctuary and he’s not happy

Imperius is the most lazy Angel in the Heavens. So he won’t…

I’d love to see those lunatics have at each other

I imagine Imperius would destroy Inarius if the two battled it out.

Who wins

Imperius and Tyriel Archangel of Justice

vs

Lilith, Inarius, Izual and Urzael.

They are in an open battlefield and cannot be helped by anyone else.

If we’re talking about a direct confrontation, then Tyrael and Imperius would likely struggle. That said, I doubt they’ll lose, at least not without giving their foes a hard time. Honestly victory would hinge on whether Tyrael and Imperius can work together as well as they did in the past. If so, then there’s great chance of victory for them.

Inarius, Izual, and Urzael aren’t in the same league as either Tyrael (pre-D3) or Imperius, so they’re not going to be very effective against the two archangels teamed up. Imo, their chance at victory might depend on Lilith, as she’s still an unknown variable, especially when it comes to her capabilities. This of course is based on the assumption that the four can work together, without trying to kill eachother, in which case, Imperius and Tyrael would have no reason to join the battle and can simply watch from the sidelines (something Imperius wouldn’t want to do ofc).

That’s my guess.
