Wizzard still missing viable one-hand weapon for meteor build. There is nothing. Why we have off hand orb in tal set when we are unable to use it ?
The most efficient Tal’ Rasha Meteors build is currently based on two daibo, The Grand Vizier and The Smoldering Core
Which one do you drop if you have a new/reworked one-hand weapon?
Anyone else disappointed this thread isn’t about wizards with one hand.

I’m considering playing meteor wiz coming season just because we finally have a good build that uses a 2 hander.
How can you use a 2 hander with only one hand?
If there was a 1H weapon buffing Meteor, it could make already one of the most powerful builds even more powerful.
You have two hands, so one equipped and one in the cube
So why we have Tal Source when we must use 2x 2hand
Why does it matter? The Meteor build is so powerful already that using 2x 2H weapons is non-issue.
Tal Rasha is a very old set in D3 scale. Back before Meteor build was a thing, there were other TR builds and they used the TR source. Just because it’s not used in the Meteor build doesn’t mean it has no purpose.

Isn’t this sort of like asking for a DH build that does everything using a wand?
Meteor is literally the only build that uses a 2h. If you want a speed variant, use Aether Walker and Tal’s orb so you can switch a piece of Tal’s for something useful. It’s still nearly as powerful for speed runs since you’re not stacking meteor damage for more than a couple seconds.
Play a crusader?
Actually DH’s do get to use two handed bows/crossbows and an offhand (quiver). I don’t see why wizards using a staff need to give up their off hand. And take a look at perhaps the most famous wizard in legend – Gandalf. Wielding a staff in one hand and a sword in the other. Clearly a staff doesn’t require two hands in combat.
But having said all that the Tal’s build with the staff in hand and the other cubed is crazy powerful already. If they unlocked the source it would have to be nerfed somehow and we all know Blizzard always nerfs too much.
If you are implying any of us mortals can be compared with Gandalf you need to check yourself.

Our characters are supposed to be the descendants of angels and demons. How is that really any different than being a Maiar like Gandalf? It’s fantasy, right? Make it fantastic not mundane.
