Running a wizard using Vyrs build… have “The Swami” in Kanai’s cube. I go archon form for standard 20 seconds. “Empowered in archon form” lasts correct amount of time for basic archon skill (20 seconds). But when timer for “Archon” runs out… the BUFF Archon “Empowered FROM archon form” counts down for the additional time granted by “The Swami” … but I am OUT of archon form. It is not actually maintaining archon form for the additional time “The Swami” should be extending it. This is repeatable … and an issue.
That’s… exactly how it’s supposed to work.
It doesn’t extend Archon, it just grants the buff from stacks for 20 seconds after Archon expires. Note the wording on the item. Read it carefully.
It’s actually a good thing. Your goal is to get back into Archon as fast as possible so that your Swami stacks overlap your stacks from the new Archon. You are very powerful when the stacks overlap.
For Vyr and all normal Archon variants Swami time is used to build up Chantodo stacks and to reset Archon as fast as possible while having more defense and damage than without it. If you got like 100 archon stacks and then in the downtime you still have your 100 stacks, if you can return to Archon form very quicky you will start with 100+50 stacks which means a lot of damage. This is what gives archon a huge damage boost (when both stacs overlap).
For reverse archon builds 20 seconds of swami is when they do damage because even 50 stacks that carry over from archon give 4x damage multiplier. More stacks = more damage when out of archon.
The Swami is not meant to extend archon time by 20 seconds, its for giving a chance to overlap stacks to have more damage when in archon and it makes possible reverse archon builds like Bazooka wizard.
