Windows debug mode

so i was doing some work related debugging in windows and enabled debug mode (msconfig - boot - advanced options - debug). seems all blizzard games have a problem with that (hearthstone, wow, diablo 3 are the ones i tried). i’d assume it might be intentional to prevent potential memory modification, which is fine. problem for me was the change fell together with nvidia driver update and it took me quite a bit to figure out what caused the games to only start for a sec and then close without a message (wow, hearthstone) or sporadically generate a report with InspectorReporter (D3) with “UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005) (SECURITY-CODE<120>)”. other games using directx (tested some steam games like stellaris etc) didnt have any issues. i am aware theres propably not a whole lot of people affected by this, but might pass it on to the devs anyway. error handling would have saved me some time.
