Windows 11 working?

won’t push the update button until we know D3 works well on it. Search only produced windows 10 discussions. Thanks

Yeah, I’m interested on this also. By all accounts it should work fine but I don’t have any personal knowledge.

I played a good few D3 sessions on Windows 11 without any issues.
We played speed runs too which performance isn’t the smoothest, yet it was just as smooth as my Win10 setup.

My vote is give it a try, see if it works for you.

Personally, I am trying to customize my own W11 version geared towards gaming with the bloatware removed like my win10 setup. :metal:

I don’t play much on PC, but I do have D3 installed on my Win11 box and it runs.

Normally, I don’t bother to keep the other system fully updated (and offline 99% of the time) but I was curious and didn’t want to use my work computer.

2 weeks playing d3 and d2r on win11 - everything’s fine.

Why would the game not work on it? ActiBlizz would have upgraded, so too shall we.

I will upgrade when i turn my pc on (so probably never).

W10 will be updated for 3 more years about the time D4 is out so I am good for now.

When 8k is official.
Avowed will be 8k ready apparently.

Thanks all. good to hear.

What does Microsoft Say it is their best windows for gaming!!! People step back and take a breath. Wait and see what happens before you jump on that bandwagon.

I’m a Microsoft Partner and yes I have tested. But I’ll stay with windows 10 for now. Windows 7 & 10 are almost the same. But why would people want to jump onto a Mac/Tablet interface program.

I started out gaming with commodore Vic 20 then to the commodore 64. I have been with windows from 3.0. Been a Microsoft Partner for almost 15 yrs.

About 80% of the people in the world can’t run it. If you can run it you need a Intel 8th gen or higher CPU. On AMD you need a Ryzen and not all of them will run it.

But good luck on that new OS!!!

I think Windows 95 was my first. And yes Windows is the best! I’ll stick to W10 too for at least 2 more years and upgrade to I9, 4000 series.
Will there be 16 cores by then i wonder? LOL.

Dang it I’m old. First windows version for me was 3.1 I think. I miss that telephone pinging internet connection and 5 minutes to download a small picture, line by line. Yeah, those were the good ole days. NOT!

I bet you remember dialing into the old Bulletin Board Systems too before Windows ever existed.

Not quite.

Wow was hoping I had found someone who I could really reminisce with.

Instead now I am the one who feels old. Thank you Argos.

If it makes you feel any better Aesthier, I do remember the party line phone, where you shared phone lines with your neighbors. I’m not proud of it, but you could hear some juicy stuff if you eavesdropped.

It’s eavesdropped, by the way. The word derives from 9th century Old English, and its derivation is literally from someone stood in the eaves (part of the roof of a house) and listened into the conversations in the rooms below them.

And, yeah, I’m old enough to remember the first phone we had the line was shared with our next-door neighbour. It was a few years before the exchange had enough lines for everyone to have one to themselves.
