i see content creaters are very positive on the game but i also see players from what i seen are very negative and dooms day on it so what do you all think?
Do the upcoming beta and see by yourself.

Content creators are going for clicks, chasing likes for $ - I don’t give them much credence. Many of them have played the endgame beta and are under NDA’s, so take anything they say with a grain of salt.
Different players have different tastes. Many of the negative Nancy’s are D2 fanboys, mad that they didn’t get D2R.2 (they say they aren’t going to play it, but you know they will). Others are cranks who are going to hate because that’s just what they do - some people have to have something to complain about. Many players are quite positive about the game, as well. I played the open beta’s and enjoyed it. Does it need improvement? Absolutely. And it will get tweaks as time goes by. Right now I give it about a 7, but your experience may vary.
If you like it, that’s fine. If you don’t like it, that’s fine also. But YOU decide, not some rando’s on YT or comment boards.

Most of the negativity about D4 is from the D2 community. They hate everything that isn’t D2.
My personal opinion is that D4 will be well worth the price of a movie and dinner, and for a much longer period. I played D3 for over 10 years. Even if I get a few months of play for D4, it will be well worth my money.

As someone who has played Diablo/Hellfire, D2/LoD, D2R, D3/RoS, D($) and 3 D4 betas I am ready for D4. Also keep in mind that the majority of players never post on forums or Redditt. With all of the information that has been published by blizzard you should be able to come to your own conclusion.

Wait at least 6 months and see. Alternatively, have no impulse control and jump in right away. For the latter I’ll be reading the D4 forums to see the epic comedy at your poor decisions. Why bother improving your game development when your customer base has collective amnesia?

That’s like telling soneone not to pull for their favorite sports team this year, but instead, wait until they see who wins the championship at the end of the season and then pull for them.

Correct. There is a strong overlap between serious sports fans and those who have collective amnesia regarding horrible “we make millions based on name alone” game development. Go waste your 70 USD or 90 CAD or whatever. I’ll be watching the forums for comedy free of charge.
If a game of D4’s quality was on steam store, it would fetch $10 and be forgotten in a month.

The beta did nothing for me, I’m not saying it’s necessarily say it’s a bad game, but it’s for sure not a game for me.
No it wouldn’t. Plenty of garbage titles on Steam that makes money.
I much prefer D3 over D2, I won’t play D4. I gave the beta a serious playthrough, and the conclusion is that D4 has no advantages over D3 in terms of what I want out of a game.

For me it is totally worth it, from the little I played (Closed beta, EA Beta, Open Beta) I can already tell that the game is so much more “meaty” than D3, that for me is the big thing. Looking forward to Server Slam weekend and launch!

By all means pull for Diablo 4 to be a great game, but people should also acknowledge that this is an industry that routinely releases games in broken or unfinished states that takes several months to fix, if they even get fixed at all.
Not that Diablo 4 is definitely going to be a broken or unfinished game, but at this point people ought to not be surprised if they pre-order a game and it comes out half baked.
People don’t even have the argument “Well Blizzard at least hasn’t screwed up like that before”.
I don’t disagree with you, but let’s face it. ALL games have issues when they are first released. ALL OF THEM. It’s hard to predict all the issues that might arise when millions of people first play the game. Some of us, if not most of us , understand this but are willing to play. I myself think they are doing all they can with the Beta tastings to avoid most of the problems. BUT I am sure there will be some.
But please, please. Don’t hate a company because they are trying to make money. That’s capitalism. Whether we like it or not, companies NEVER do anything for free. How much money depends on how good the product. It’s to their advantage to make a good product rather than a bad one. If you choose not to buy it: good for you. Me on the other hand: It’s well worth the money.

True. And lots of D3 haters in this forum too (and in this thread). Funny how some people love to hate on D3 (and D4) and Blizzard. Like an obsession. Instead of moving on they just continue to stick around. Maybe they need the attention?

There’s also a big difference between “all games have issues”, and whatever the hell Warcraft 3 Reforged was supposed to be. I wasn’t talking about games having issues, I was talking about them being straight up broken or half baked.
I have neither hate nor love for Blizzard. They are not “my team”, just as no company is “my team”. I don’t see the point in rewarding releasing poor quality games by pre-ordering their next one just cause it got hyped up.
and yes obviously people are free to do whatever they want with their money, but then people always come back and act surprised when a game comes out half baked even as they’re the ones enabling that kind of behaviour.
of course it will. This si blizzard, and if they can do anything it is make a good game. Ppl like to complain and post epic novels about how much they hate blizzard, why this is better than that, yadda yadda, and some of it is warranted but in the end, they are here…playing diablo or whatever.
I wasn’t super fond of D3 when it came out and forgot about it. 10 years later I come back (after buying, enjoying, and realizing how dated d2r still is…nostalgia is a hell of a drug) and I gotta say they definitely redeemed themselves for the really bad market place. I’m enjoying this title than any of the newer ones on steam. I just keep coming back. My biggest regret is not trying it out years ago, and apparently they made the changes quite awhile ago.
Their games play well, they aren’t afraid to change core elements and they have the playerbase to prove it.

That’s not really true though.
There is no absolute answer.
It depends where you are at. If you are a consumer, then you will buy a bigmac meal and buy diablo4 no matter what. Such a person couldn’t care less, what’s important is it brings them more happiness than a happy meal. If you have played ARPGs until you dream about them you might be after a fine wine experience. If you are strange like me then you will care about continuity and be focused on the lore and world-building side of things.
As for content creators, I wouldn’t call them content creators, none of them are. They are content responders. They find content and respond to it. It’s like the whole influencer meme all over again.

The first few minutes lived up to the hype for me, but the more I played the more I felt let down.
The depth just isnt there. I’ll still play around with it, but it’s not the game I was hoping for.
