Seriously! If you’re paragon 500 and you join a T16 bounty group, why would you open the chest when the guy doing all of the work is taking care of the other mobs and trying to get their loot!! Ticks me off! I lost a primal drop thanks to you dumb mother hamster!! This isn’t the first time some moron did this… very common today too, the 5th time someone did this… Vision really needs a 60 second shut down or better yet give me PvP functions and let me kill those hamsters!

I have to agree and a lot people don’t care about the other players. All this game is Me Myself and I. When I do bounties I try not to join them in a vision. Because all it is a race to see how quick I can get it done.
Why are you doing visions in a bounty run to start with?
Actually, before that, why are you in a bounty group?
I mean, I agree that you shouldn’t open until everyone’s ready, but I also feel that if you already is doing something inefficient and then being inefficient within that as well, then you can’t really expect too much in terms of efficiency from your allies.
It was a open group anyone can join. He was barely paragon 500, WD poorly geared. He couldn’t handle a T16 vision solo, so he was leeching off me.
I don’t care that he joined, and don’t mind helping another player. I benefit from the stand your ground buff, hence why I keep the room open. That is why I was in a open bounty group.
Why bounties? The chests gives me mats I burn up on a day to day basis.The rewards also benefits the others. It also passes time while farming visions. Which is my true goal.
Why visions? They’re more entertaining and provides a break from speed running GR for paragon levels. The vision also gives me plenty of GR keys and loads of mats. They also drop primal at a higher rate, at least for me.
So in a nutshell, doing group bounties this way is more productive. Typically I run with 3 other people X 30% magic/gold find, exp… and they claim harder monsters, but i still 1 shot it all.
Start a private game. Go to an area with high density and NO active bounty. Run until a Vision portal opens. Leave the area. Start an actual bounty, open game to public.
That way, no one can get sidetracked, and start a vision while there are bounties outstanding.

Visions are not a natural part of the game, it’s more of a brute force mechanism to loot and souls. And being a new activity, no culture have been developed for it, it’s total chaos.
When I do a normal rift, I think to myself that this activity is more balanced and fluidly implemented in D3.
That is the way the game has come to be so get use to it. I was in a T6 GR game and I was the only one killings things. There was 3 other people in the game. One at 1580, 1138, & 650. All of them were standing at the door.
I said I’m sorry but this is sad. I’m at 880 doing 90 GR’s and you guys are stand at the door. The guy that is at 1580 said sorry but I need gear. Plus I see this more of this on the EU server vs the USA server.
Don’t get me wrong, but I’ll help some one to level up and get gear. But this guy is 1580 and leeching. If I was at 1580 I won’t be leeching I would be making everything myself. He should have enough mats to do that. If he doesn’t have that it would be sad too!!!

Leeching is a big problem, that 1580 probably leeched his way there. Standing there is lazy, they don’t even give you the stand your ground buff. They could switch skills to support, every class is capable of that. Thus making the speed quicker and giving you that xp buff, loot and them.
When I had about 1000 paragon someone with 2700 joined and ran me through 150, I switched to full support on my multi. My damage was laughable, but it increased their damage as well as some crowd control.
Last season I played story mode and I had no issues. Nay, I had fun.
My very unpopular opinion is that D3 has been creeped to hard without thought. The motto: Quantity over quality!
It’s almost as if group D3 would need automatic loot as first altar node (who needs xp, it just deflates your gear), huge bags, and all that.
I hated the same about Torchlight. If I can’t play 15 minutes without sorting loot, I think there is a design failure. And then it shouldn’t take long.
Plot twist: in D3 I have to sort loot after 15 seconds of play.
As a monk I couldn’t avoid clicking the vision chest so I always had 30 seconds to mop up the last level. Goblin levels were absolute grief like that, but even the end of a simple vision.
In GW2 you get all these chests in your bags and you can walk away. They even stack. You can identify them later.
D3 has 25 bag slots effectively. I love when I loot 150 items in a single vision level. Kill, loot, T, salvage, return, loot, T, salvage, return, loot, T, salvage, return, loot, T, salvage, return, loot, T, salvage, return, loot, T, salvage, return. Equally as spammy as this paragraph. One more level? Add one more repetition. One more level? Add one more repetition.
Adventure Mode sucks.
ps.: At first glance I had a good rant. What I actually did, however, is saying that the OP complaint should be invalid. He should receive everything in their bags and sort it out once done with the day. Same about the “stupid teammate turned bounty”.
That’s total weird.
My cumulated paragon is sub-800 but I merrily got to T15 multiple times, once T16 even I guess. Not sure about my GR record, let’s say 85.
(I usually play much lower and then season ends. I hate loot so cba. See above.)
Okay, visions can be a mess, T16V is about T19-T20 which I never got to (instant splat). But then I’d just say I’m not that strong and have to coop. Had a friend a decade ago saying that my lowly contribution has been actually helpful.
P1600 requires a lot of leeching like that.
I don’t mine helping people but I have seen a lot that lately. Leeching and standing at the door. Plus the person I was talking about has been here for years too. I have more than one account. The reason for that is I really never have to ask any body with help. The only time I might is when we all first start a new season.
I have been playing this game long enough to learn you don’t waste your mats on stupid stuff. But a lot of people do. That is why they have to leech to get stuff. For one of my conquest I did the years of war 6 class sets. I did the 5 DH’s. then a barb. I have enough mats I could make everything I needed for the barb.
I play the game to have fun. Seen what I can get. Help people that really need help. I don’t play it for the leader board & paragon.
