Why kill summoner builds?

I like how Rathma supports having many minions but they don’t deal any damage anymore. It’s hard for me to call it summoner build if only damage dealers are aoe and projectile skills. Do we really want it like this? It feels clunky to play and it’s dead in new ptr patch anyway.

Witch Doctor Gargs build felt behind in power and that leaves us with only LoD Skele mages but it’s only one summon type, annoyingly squishy and dependent of 2 min cooldown. Not cool.

Bone spirit needs a rework. It should fly faster, you don’t need to give it a target it could attak on its own, if not haveing any target in a certain distence it will folow you untill an enemy comes in range. This implies that it no longer have unlimited range. And change a rune or have an item makes it cost essence and not haveing to wait for charges.
