anyone else having a problem with clan names showing in chat?
Hey Osnodon,
Yep, lots of people. There are a couple reports here on the forums, but I see it come up in the various chats at least everyday.
I assume this is fixable with restarting everything, and running bnet launcher as admin,
so the game starts as admin, idk since i dont experience this bug and i use run as admin all the time (?)
I noticed this too… thought a few people had left the clan
Thankfully it’s not a game breaking bug.
TBH, my care factor for fixes to this game is very low. I’m actually expecting the minimum requirement for the game to be Win11 once MS stops support for Win10 later this year. Seems to be what Blizzard does IIRC to what happened when Win7 support ended.
I have no intention of replacing my desktop PC until it dies so I’m expecting that once Blizzard patches out support for Win10 that I won’t be able to play the game until I get a Win11 compatible gaming PC.
Hi Leviathan,
If it’s affecting “lots of people”, is there an expected time frame for when it will be fixed?
Since being affected, I’ve uninstalled windows, installed linux and done a range of things, and it’s still not working properly.
Kind regards,
Unfortunately, I don’t know. Whoever handles D3 doesn’t communicate very much.
Funny enough, the game continues to play just fine on Windows 7. I tested it the other day.
Also, in chat, when a HC player gets an achievement in chat it shows as SC, instead of HC.
I’m not sure what you’re describing.
Do you have an example of a achievement that did this?
