Why is there no info on season 35? Does it exist?

I honestly don’t understand what you’re talking about. I’m just saying that blizzards monetary interests and player interests (both D3 and D4 players) line up here. Everyone wants the seasons to not start at the same time. At no point did I say that blizzard is shifting dates out of philanthropic benevolence.

This “trust me bro” part with all caps and things, but without any source to back up why it’s not a guess made me laugh, thanks for that!

It really is a shame that competent people cannot defend the company and keep a straight face. Those who do, you know are just trying to wind people up.

Answer? None what-so-ever.

They want to set it up strategically so that people will still have plenty of time to buy MTX from play Diablo 4.

And I am asking for quantification on “everyone” because I personally only play D3 right now. And I don’t really care if their seasons align. My previous boss used to say “never say never, and always be wary of always.”

I trust you can follow the paper trail from there? Or do you require additional linkage?

They blipped because the scheduler was out of sync because they delayed the prior season because D4’s expansion was launching. Said blip caused S33 to mess up. Said mess up caused S34 to be delayed.

I’m asking straight up: who benefits from this ineptitude? You? Blizz? Me? Who, quantifiably, benefits?

The thing about conspiracy theories is sometimes they’re proven to be correct. We’re not talking “The moon landing was faked” or “the earth is flat” here. We’re talking about a company that realizes that D4 is bombing. And though D3 isn’t exactly a juggernaut of a game it still is the game Blizzard is worried is taking an audience from D4.

This is an undeniable fact. You don’t even have to “do your own research” on this one. The company flat out admitted it.

Just sayin’.

Believe what you want. It’s just a video game and I have better things to think about. Good luck!

Yep. Willing to engage in an argument right up until the moment you’re called on your bullspit.

You do you, bud.

He has a long post history of calling people names, unprovoked. Last guy asked him a question in a very friendly manner and he called them a “man-child”.

I don’t understand what people like that think they gain from being that way. Nobody thinks it’s funny.

I just think it’s kind of low to compare people who know that Blizzard doing what they’re doing to flat earthers, 9-11 truthers, and moon landing truthers. I mean, that in itself is ridiculous and is done just to dismiss facts like the aforementioned conspiracy theorists do diligently.

Perusoe-1251, you’re generally very helpful on here and I generally enjoy your posts. But this is neither enjoyable nor helpful.

A legitimate question was asked and legitimate responses were given. And you’re being rudely dismissive of that discourse.

I was idly wondering who the hidden posts were but have resolved never again to “reveal” them. Zurtle is not one with whom I’ve had productive conversations in the past.

Regarding conspiracy theories themselves:

Neither is coming here to read new posts on a thread and find a handful of people arguing back and forth, endlessly about the same nonsense.

So, grab your popcorn. I’m going to sit back and relax until the smoke clears.

Season 35 will be here when it gets here.

Unfortunately, Perusoe. I stepped into a forum feud between two posters. That said, I understand where you’re coming from but ignoring factual arguments to appear neutral isn’t normally your style.

But yes, it does get old having the same arguments with the same people over and over again.

But on another note and referencing old posts of mine. One good thing about the lack of population on this board is “the clique” has abandoned this forum and I don’t have to read the same inane arguments from a few of the old timers.

Just sayin’.

And I wasn’t going to say anything. I just posted the popcorn gif and got attacked for it.

It’s all good. (At least, on my  side of the fence).

If you felt “attacked” then I apologize. Such was not my intention. Trust me, I have no qualms about venomous vernacular when I wish to deploy it, but this was not one of those times.

If you’re good, I’m good. Then, it’s all good

And just in general terms, to stand on a soap box for just one mere moment more, I think this entire ordeal (sans one hidden poster at least) has been remarkably civil on the whole. At least from my vantage point, I have no actual “Cow King style” beef with Cascade on this. I think we just have a difference of opinion.

EDIT: Though I will say, my opinion of Blizz is less than good. If I come across as abrasive, it’s probably not intended for the posters here. My ire’s with Blizz and their hire ups (to turn a phrase).

2nd EDIT: So Cascade, if you felt attacked, I apologize to you as well.

It still amazes me that 2 decades later, some people still cannot grasp the simple concept that it’s perfectly ok to disagree with someone and remain civil. We don’t have to see eye to eye on everything to remain on good terms.

Even you and I disagreed on something when we first met on here. It happens, and that’s ok! I just can’t imagine what a person is like in real life, who attacks, or even stalks someone on a forum for disagreeing on something. It really makes one wonder what kind of life they lead. I almost picture one of those guys who lives alone in a leaky apartment with newspaper clippings all over the walls.

You’re very much in the right for feeling how you do about Blizzard. I guarantee most people here feel the same. The only people I ever see here try white knighting for the company, despite all the atrocious things they’ve done in the past decade are the usual shills who have or hope to gain favor.

Blizzard has reaped what they sowed. They deserve all the backlash they’ve received. To be fair, some people aim that at the wrong team members. They blame the devs for doing something when the devs are just following orders from management. From what I’ve read, most devs would MUCH prefer quality game content however…

Dev: I have this great concept/design for a new game activity that I know players will have fun with.

Management: Do they have to swipe their credit cards?

Dev: Uh no… it’s just fun game content.

Management: Then no, players do not want fun content. They want more cosmetics.

You ruined the dopamine rush he gets when he convinces himself he makes others look bad so he can feel good about himself. He is probably over on the Hello Kitty Online forums right now crying about how mean we all are here.

The optimal date for the start of Diablo 3 is 06/06/2025, since 2+0+2+5=9, an inverted nine, will give 6. The total will be 666. According to their satanic gematria. We’ll see

I am back on D3 after seeing it on GamePass on my Xbox. Had a blast playing couch co-op again (blows D4 outta the water there). We were doing seasonal this past week and now the altar is just… gone? The login screen still says “SEASONAL” so I think its related to the “roll off seasonal timeline” bug from earlier…

Just trying to understand if a new season is starting soon or not because I would love to play more and unlock the altar again, but not really interested in playing standard… I understand a lack of development but not really the lack of communication if seasons are so “automatic”.

Sorry for the late reply. But, I believe you meant higher-ups.

Of course, if you want  to “hire UPS” as your primary carrier, that would be your choice in some cases.

As far as Season 35 start, or Season 34 end dates, I’m surprised we haven’t gotten any “News” yet. If Season 34 lasts as long as Season 28 did, Season 35 may not start until August 22.
