Why is the amazon so ungodly ugly?

People took it personally when I said this subject (as in the main topic itself) is trivial aspect of the game. For that, they started insulting me first, like you, calling me things or kid. To those, then I replied back with rather harsh respond. But I wasn’t the one who started it.

You just edited your own post after I replied to it.

But this is what I have meant by the way.

That was your reply to my my first post, which was harmless and not directed at anybody.

It wasn’t direct at anyone, so certainly not at you. Even if so, which it isn’t, whats wrong.

What did I said in the whole comment are offensive? You are reaching…

I mention if Assassin need to be Asian, same logic should apply to other classes. how is this offensive. Then I explain why OG D2 Assasin & Paladin are what they are due to lore. WHats offensive

Then I provide historical facts that people who fough in medevial times were much younger & being over 40s were extremely rare. Whats offensive?

I wonder why people “who don’t care” come to this thread and start insulting/trolling/making fun/attacking/derailing conversation all the time? Just put them on your ignore list and move on. Not worth to waste time/energy on them.

This remaster is 95% about visuals. There is nothing else to criticize because there is nothing new there except visuals and a few QoL features. So people are concerned about new graphics mostly and want it to be as advertised: being faithful to the originals.

It was in February. Since then devs said in their interviews that they are NOT changing D2R models. Check Korean interview for example. Also, W3:Refunded devs made a lot of promises too. Some people are still waiting.

If you advertise something and then totally fail to provide it - ofc there will be criticism. Look at what happened to W3:Refunded. Many people care about D2 so they don’t want it to become another failed remaster.

Being faithful to original is a valid claim, but the game is not about visuals, the game is about what the original is. The remaster aspect is mainly visual and some QoL, that’s what you are trying to refer to.

So what? Amazon face is not pretty so D2R is a failure like W3R was? ok got it…

You are missing the point.

The point is if Blizzard is so tone-deaf for NOT listening to fans & players.

This is the most required change, by country miles & people are just asking them to return Amazon to OG look. It’s as reasonable as it gets & does not take a lot of effort & literally no side effects/resistance like other requests like charm inventory.

If Blizzard wouldn’t even listen to the overwhelmed top request (despite saying they are) with overwhelming support (not just here, but also Reddit), then how can we trust them to listen to other feedbacks not just for D2R but also D4?

No one is saying they should be listening to every demand/feedback, but this request is not technically hard and reasonable.

They’ve created the parody themselves, and wonder why people are just going along with it.

Watch out mate. Pointing out these obvious facts would make you a target for some “humanist” individuals.

The solution is simple for me.

I own SC II - haven’t played it in years.

I own WoW: Shadowlands - Haven’t touched that since January. (No desire to go back at all as BFA was the last straw and yes I was a vanilla player. Legion was great though.)

I played Hearthstone for like a week nearly a decade ago, but realized I’d rather collect physical cards like MTG that retain some value, vs. being digitally and intellectually owned by Blizzard and any meaningful value poofs whenever Blizzard shuts down the server.

I played HoTS for a month, but League / Dota were just plainly better (ironic).

I own OW, but only play that once or twice every few months when a friend asks me. I never play alone because honestly, it’s just an okay game.

I played D3 for a few seasons here and there, but the cartoony graphics inevitably lose me once I do the seasonal objectives and just stare at the game.

I’ve been playing Blizzard games since 1996 - Diablo, D2 LoD, SC+BW, WCII, WCIII + Frozen Throne. I have put thousands of dollars into this company over the years. If they can’t fix a simple Amazon face, I’ll just shrug, cancel my pre-order and go play something else.

It doesn’t really matter to me if she’s ugly or not (anymore), I’m just waiting to see if Blizzard is actually going to listen.

“Freedom of speech” does not apply, and has never applied, to privately owned platforms. Blizzard’s Terms of Use can and do trump it in every scenario and situation.

Btw guys, is there a way to delete your blizz account? Like totally close it forever. I have some games there like SC2 and some others. I’m just considering to do this in case this whole situation isn’t fixed. Totally zero faith now in this company.

Absolutely! Here is how to permanently delete your Bnet account and all your game licenses. This can not be undone once completed.

This seems so extreme to me.

How much time do you spend looking at the character screen?

Considering the game has an isometric view, many of the complaints are largely invisible when you are actually playing the game.

In d2 (or any similar game), you’re actually looking at your character 99.9% of the time

I am pretty sure that you are not staring at the details of your character’s face in an isometric view where your character takes up a miniscule portion of your screen.
