Why is my mouse speed so slow in Diablo 3?

In all of the Blizzard games I play my mouse speed is the same speed on my desktop as it is in game…with the only exception being Diablo 3.

That’s right in World of Warcraft, Overwatch, Starcraft 2, and even Call of Duty my mouse speed is just as fast as it is on my desktop.

Why then is my mouse speed like 50%+ slower in Diablo 3? I tried Fullscreen…I tried Fullscreen Windowed…I tried Windowed…I tried different resolutions…and nothing changes the slow speed of the mouse. Where are the mouse acceleration options in game? By the way the mouse is a Logitech G600.

Maybe it’s just the game. It’s a 2012 patch game a dinosaur in gaming world.

It is possible that the software you are using for your mouse is set up to use a specific curve with certain apps. Usually this is user initiated, so if you did so for other games, you may need to do so for Diablo 3 since it has no mouse options within it.

It may also be that whatever rendering mode you’re using causes the mouse to not hook properly, resulting in loss of pointer speed. Which of the three modes are you playing in currently that has the problem?

  1. Fullscreen

  2. Fullscreen (Windowed)

  3. Windowed

You might need to toggle through them and see which one provides the proper mouse speed. Hopefully it doesn’t disrupt your playing the game inside the game world.

I observe no difference between windows desktop, windows programs, and Diablo3 (in town, GR, rifts, boutnies). Observe same speed under FS, FS windowed, and windowed. Under WIn10 settings/devices/mouse/mouse options, I have mouse set to about 60%. I use an EVGA torq mouse. No third party mouse software installed.

I have the same problem, ruins the experience for me.

edit: I fixed my problem by changing how often my mouse sends information to the computer. I switched mine from 1000 to 150.

I fixed this issue by going to logitech G hub and change the diablo 3 application setting mouse. Turn out theres default dpi for ever apps in logitech G hub, and for diablo 3 it is 800 dpi
