Why does this demon have a navel?

Give me a plausible explanation, I never saw a demon with a navel, I killed many and I always check if they have a navel.

It’s due to increased resolution! :open_mouth:

Do you get out of the house much?

If Lilith gave birth to nephalems and subsequently humanity, I would assume that demon, angel and human alike have the same way of reproduction. So a navel is just natural at best.

But Diablo doesn’t have a belly button, and Mephisto doesn’t have the … You know.

Surely this guy shouldn’t have a belly button.

Tathamet was the second being to exist in Creation. The counterpart of Anu, its creation and death led to the birth of the Burning Hells. His seven heads spawned the Great Evils. The strongest of his maws gave birth to the three Prime Evils while the four lesser heads gave birth to the Lesser Evils. As with all the Great Evils, Diablo spawned from one of the seven heads of the great dragon Tathamet.

I’m guessing you forgot about Andariel, huh?

Should she even have a navel if she spawned from one of Tathamet’s heads?

Andariel appear in images with and without a navel, but in the game she has no navel.

And if they have navels they have to be born and grow, has anyone seen a child demon in the game?

There is something very wrong with this development team.

Yes, they are all over the place in D3, act 1 in the Crypt.

Imp : These little creatures can be found on the very lowest position of the demonic totem pole. Simply put, they are demonic hell spawn: the children of fully-developed demons. However, demons tend to get very hungry after committing acts of unspeakable evil, so, according to lore, they will sometimes have cravings for a nice hot bowl of baby demon stew. In an act of self-preservation, some Imps find refuge in portals that lead to the human realm, where they dwell in dungeons and catacombs to feast on careless tomb raiders. Since they are relatively harmless to seasoned adventurers, they tend to run away if overwhelmed, making them more of an annoyance than an actual threat.

They are not children, they are just small, or dwarfs.

They certainly don’t have a nursery or anything like that, we’ve gone down to hell and seen it.

I think it’s the developers’ mistake, they must have been based on some fan art.

Did you listen to the lore when you played the game?

Why not whats the problem?

He/she might not get out much. I think we will see a lot more than navels in D4.

It’s true, there are demon kids, they can have navels.

So it’s all right. haha ha

Time to move on from this one you kids have fun talking about demon body parts.
Remember it is okay to go outside and get some fresh air.

But it is not yet explained how Mephisto had children.

He doesn’t have the pee maker.

But this is not as important as the navel thing, never mind.

If one is to have kids there must be a navel, otherwise the genetics would be off.

that’s quite some fetish you have…

or the effect of a very long quarantine in the house… :mask:

I don’t see why not, while she and the rest of the Great Evils spawned from Tathamet’s heads; what they inherited was the powerful malevolent essence that made up Tathamet’s heads. If they were to have inherited any major physiology from Tathamet’s heads, then the Great Evils would all look like giant toothy maws of a near immeasurable size.

Base on what’s been told (that I know of anyway), Demons and Angels don’t grow, at least not in the sense as Humans do.
