Most all forums are like this. Most companies will always tell you if you have any question ask the community. So people think that the forum is support. Most all forums are User to User forums.
Now I’m on the Ubisoft forum. They do have people that do talk to Developers. Over there you have the community manager & support people helping. Here you really see them helping out here OK Right.
Lowering your expectations into the ground, and then further down, based on experience, year after year, is not hate. Just having a realistic view on what Blizzard is able to deliver.
Probably. But many things are a waste of time in some sense. Such as playing games.
Blizzard has actually adjusted D4 a few times, presumably based on external feedback. So while it likely is a waste of time, we can’t really say for certain.
As incredibly bad a game as D:I is, I bet it would have been even worse without the negative reception. It likely delayed the game, and made Blizzard put more work into it. As hard as it might be to see how the extra work helped.
You think DI is a bad game. But you play D3 that all it is a contest to be the leader-board Kings. You do the same thing over & over again 1000’s of times.
You don’t have to P2W to enjoy the game. It is breath of fresh air VS D3.
I know that this question was not directed ar me; however, …
As background, I believe irrespective of Blizzard denials that Blizzard intentionally kept drop rates in early D3 too low in order to increase the likelihood that players would use real money where Blizzard got their 15% cut from the RMAH. My point is that one needs to be careful with monetization because it impacts in the case of D3, the paying customer experience.
For D:I, it is more complex as a F2P game where Blizzard’s business interests are obviously making money. The reality is Blizzard directly sells power and has numerous hard/soft caps for player progession. Wyatt has acknowledged these caps.
If one is ok with these caps and the predatory p2w aspects, then the game can be fun. I have played D:I and it is enjoyable to me in a narrow sense; however, it is also undeniably one of the most predatory p2w games ever created. In that regard, it is a bad game.
I see the potential of what D:I could be (a very good mobile game) but the current reality is that D:I game design decisions to promote p2w seriously undermines game quality. I do hope that Blizzard reconsiders several elements of their gsme deiign.
In general, players care about a game they play more than the developers. Developers are just following orders to satisfy the greed of the corporate folks. Diablo franchise has changed a lot of developers in the past and will change a lot in the future too. Its company is to change too. What doesn’t change is the true devoted player base - the real fans that want to elevate the genre to next level.
To be fair he actually think everything is bad. He pretty much complain about everything and anything. U see him in about every thread complaining about something.
I think he just likes to complain about things. Or more like cant stop complaining. He seem to have issues with accepting that the world doesnt revolve around him. And what he believes isnt the absolute truth.
