Who is Lilith's mother?

Did Mephisto had kids by himself or is there a Mother somewhere that no one knows about?

Mephisto can alter mediclorians to create life itself

I believe that Lilith as well as Lucion was born from Mephisto’s essence, as such I don’t believe she had a mother.

Tsk tsk not knowing your Lore -10 points.

Lilith is the daughter of Auriel, she also has a brother Lucion. Mephisto - The Lord of Hatred and Auriel the Aspect of Hope made sweet love and made Lilith. This is probably why Lilith was attracted to Inarius in the first place; like mother like daughter. (Ooo maybe daughter and mother will reunite in D4 :open_mouth: )

Meaning technically Tathamet is actually Auriel’s father-in-law which essentially means the entire higher forces of Angels and Demons are all related to each other in one way or another.

Have fun pondering that

I’ve heard rumors of that but never really took them seriously, as that would make Lilith a nephalem. It would definitely be a twist if that was the case, but I don’t believe it is.

I’m uncertain where the disconnect there is as well but it’s clear in the Sin Wars and Book of Cain that Lilith is indeed the daughter of Auriel and Mephisto. This could be why she’s hailed as the most attractive and desirable creature in all the Lore and ā€˜resembles human features’ because essentially she is.

This is perhaps why the Lore considers Andariel as the ā€œonly female evilā€ (Lesser Evil). Because shouldn’t Lilith be considered a Lesser Evil too if she was full deamon?

Might be some lore holes going on there lol…

No wonder they look funny and keep letting us kill them!

Haha yep, Anu and Tathemet waged war for millenniums only for their off-spring to all interbreed, sounds about right I mean that’s basically humans in a nutshell

If she truly is Nephalem, then I’m positive we’ll learn more either in Diablo 4 or perhaps some novels.

Well Lilith wouldn’t be considered as a Lesser Evil as she wasn’t born from Tathamet’s heads like Andariel was as well as the other great evils.

Great point. Okay so maybe that’s not a hole.

I really hope they do expand on this and remember the Lore, that would be fantastic!

So interesting enough of the Three Prime Evils Baal is the only one not to have children (Diablo had Leah, Mephisto had Lilith and Lucion). Poor Baal, guess that’s the price to pay being Lord of Destruction and all.

Same.

A random guess but if Baal would have children, he’d probably have three.

Honestly though, it would seem that being a child of one of the prime evils is a doomed fate as Leah was betrayed by her mother and was used to revive Diablo as the singular prime evil, Lucion was erased by Uldyssian, and Lilith was sealed away twice. Now while she finally has been set free, there’s no telling what events are in store for her in Diablo 4.

Yah not a great fate to be a child of the Prime Evils, but hey as they say as long as the grand kid is doing alright all is good right? (Rathma).

Jez Rathma is like everyone’s nephew and all his uncles hate each other… mind blown What a mess of a family tree lol

It’s a bit confusing… Wouldn’t that make every child of her half Nephalem or something else? AFAIK there’s no term for offspring of angel/demon with Nephalem and what their traits are.

It’s basic Judeo/Christian theology.

Idk, I’m not even sure how or why Mephisto and Auriel became intimate in the first place lol. It does make these lore bits intriguing though.

Of course!

Ultimately, the bigger question is… Where are Mephisto’s reproductive organs?

Lol, asking real questions here…

The tip of his spine obviously

I think Mephisto’s skeletal form is the product of him possessing Que-Hagan’s emacisted form. Who the heck knows if that is his ultimate form, and if that form has a peepee. Same as why D3 Diablo looks a bit like a crossdresser. The body he took over and all.
