Which bow is better for Lyndon?

  1. Windforce = 38% chance to knockback on hit. Plus 37% chance to inflict bleed for 37% WD over 5 seconds.

  2. Hellrack = Chance to root enemies to the ground when you hit them.

It depends what class you’re playing. If you’re paying a melee class like a barb, having your enemies being knocked back can be annoying. However if you’re a ranged class having enemies knocked away can be beneficial.

Tempest Rush Monk. I can see the root effect from the Hellrack but I cannot see the knockback effect with the Windforce. The Hellrack has a good visual I see it rooting several in a short time, but I cannot really tell when the Windforce is working. :bow_and_arrow: :bow_and_arrow:

I like raven’s wing whenever I use boon of the hoarder. I use windforce only with strongarm bracers. Otherwise, I use whatever bow gets Lyndon over the 25K mainstat mark, faster the better usually, and Hellrack effect is a nice bonus to consider. Sometimes, I like to use a bow with lightning damage, and give the scoundrel a wyrward (for speeds where I can benefit from stuns, and enemies are dead before they can develop cc immunities.)

Whichever bow you use for Lyndon, try to get (or reroll) Lightning damage on it, so that it can proc the Wyrdward ring he should also wear to stun elites and the RG…

Are looking for the better of those two or would you take another suggestion?

If it’s the latter, then Buriza is a good choice. Either next season with the Ethereal version or the current version.

The current version with it’s chance to pierce and chance to freeze makes it easier to choose his skills because you don’t need his pierce ability and the freeze offers good CC.

Depends on what you want his role to be. Yet I think for a Monk, the Hellrack would be the better pick out of the two. As a Monk you can trigger knockback easily whenever you want.
If you want to hear other options besides Windforce, there are; Buriza (as stated above), Cluckeye and Pus Spitter. First two spreads freeze and blind effects respectively, the last one allows you to create aggro pools around the summoned acid blobs for nuking later.

The thread was asking which bow for Lyndon, i.e. the Scoundrel follower.
Followers cannot use ethereals.
