If it’s ladder and cross progression that means it’s on blizz servers right? D3 had an issue with HC on console, where people could back their characters up and if they died they would just restore them and still be at the top of the leaderboard. This was one of the reasons I disliked D3. D2R won’t have this issue correct?
On PC the cross progression is saved on the Blizzard servers.
Console, I don’t play so don’t know. You would HOPE they prevent any corruption of the char with offline saves but I don’t know how that works there.
If they do it right, it is online only.

I mean if it’s cross progression wouldn’t that mean… for other systems to access that info everything is being stored in blizz servers?
Therefore you can’t save ladder chars?
