You probably know this already.
But, your Seasonal Normal (SC) items are sent to your non-Seasonal Normal Characters.
Your Seasonal Hardcore items are sent to your non-Seasonal Hardcore Characters.

True. But a lot of the stuff is not mailed, it is added to the pool of crafting mats etc. that can be seen from your inventory.

Too late to check if the EU mats arrived on the big non season heap or not.
I made screens for US though (SC only).
It sounded to me like @Groot was saying they wanted their Hardcore items back because they did not find them in the Softcore non-Season mail.
So, I said:
Hardcore stuff is not sent to non-Season Softcore. No matter what the items are.
I “hear” ya.
My concern though is for the players that are seeing 0 Mats of one type or another. This seems odd.
And, just for the record, I can’t check Americas Region yet, but it appears I got all my Mats on Asia and Europe Regions. Both Hardcore and Normal (SC).
I didn’t take screenshots either.

It just occurred to me, and I may be remembering this wrong:
Is there a maximum number of Mats that are recorded in the Mats Inventory? I vaguely remember this coming up a number of Seasons ago. The consensus was the number of Mats wrapped. (Like an automobile odometer coming back around to 0 miles).
In other words, the Mats had reached its maximum and wrapped around to 0 again. (Just a thought).
If someone who has 0 Mats wanted to test this, just craft some items that require that/those Mats and see if a number other than 0 appears. 
The limit shown on the crafting page is 99,999. Most of my non-season mats are there. Once you go over that, it still shows 99,999, but if you hover over this number, it will show the correct total.
As for the OP, this is the first time we have seasonal and SSFM items both going to non-season. This could possibly have a bug.

Yeah. I noticed that too when I had to do double juggling while managing my Stash.
- Normal Season converted.
- Normal Solo Season converted to Normal Season.
- Hardcore Season converted.
- Hardcore Solo Season converted to Hardcore Season.
And that’s just one Region. 
It only seems to be affecting some players though.

Well, US softcore non-ssf mats carried over just fine.
I have more than 65536 of many, but it’s quite a gap up to 4 billion (32 bit). If that’s even a limit, gold goes beyond that already.
But yeah, merging both normal and SSF in might well be bugged.
