Wondering if it will end on 6 Oct or earlier?
What do you want us to say that hasn’t already been said?
Everything else is speculation and/or wishful thinking.
I can guarantee it will end before, on, or after Oct. 6th.
Season 30 started on 12 Jan and ended 7 Apr, Season 31 started on 12 Apr and ended on 7 Jul, Season 32 started on 12 Jul so I predict it will end on 7 Oct and Season 33 will start on 12 Oct.
Looks like officially the 20th, S33 on 25th.
link pls!
where off information?

Literally just below this thread.
Seasons are too long. Having a new start date pushed back by reasons outside of the game itself exacerbates this even more. Enjoying the game 4 times a year for a couple days isnt enough, and these decisions they make are one of the reasons i dont support them financially. Having the start pushed because of D4 only reinforces the choice to not buy D4. I dont support companies that fix a games problems by releasing a new game to buy.
I know the official dates and times have already been posted. But, for future reference:
- Seasons always end on Sunday. 7 Oct is a Monday.
- Patches go Live the following Tuesday. (If there is a Patch).
- Seasons always start on Friday. 12 Oct is a Saturday.
Just sayin’
It’s for those of us that actually play multiple games across the franchise. It’s better not to be stuck having to choose only partaking in 1 game’s season start. I think the timing is fine. Gives me a chance to beat VoH campaign and get a character or two going, then blast D3 for a week before heading back to 4. I’d throw D2R into rotation if they actually made some meaningful changes still.
Posts like this make me laugh…
The game is identical whether you start the launch day or a month later. You’re not competing with anybody and the balance of gear sets, skills, and items is so poor there is no player skill involved at all.
not true. I compete in the speedrun to 70 the second the season goes live, and then I see how fast I can get geared up and get rank 1 SSF No Set Monk with the LoD gem and an interesting blend of leggos that dictate what my build will focus on as I go and get upgrades. There will be no chance to get on that leaderboard at any significant rank if I start a month late. If they added an Altar reset button, we could enjoy seasons longer because we wouldnt have to simulate a fresh start by creating a character on every mode in every region. It’s ALL about the first week of a season for me, and I’m not alone. I have been playing this game since there was an auction house, and I’ve been hanging on long enough now to finally see SSF mode added, but there have been years of disappointment and feeling unheard by the devs to the point Ive chosen not to purchase D4. I have no problem affording it, it’s just a principle. And finally, there are a lot of people that play games for fun or to escape the brutal BS that can come with real life, and they dont care so much about feeling like “bro im so skilled at this game, I’m the best!” FUN. some of us are looking for FUN. WoW classic should tell you, it doesnt have to be a NEW game to be fun. I would 100% have purchased D4 if it was a direct expansion from D3 (like RoS) in the form of fixes and added content but it didnt appear that way on release. So keep laughing and eat the bowl of turds they sell you, and never ask for QoL in the games youve already decided you enjoy.
I play D3, I raided in WoW classic up till killing LK (had a few pulls on heroic), OW2, Helldivers2, Destiny2, Ark SE/Minecraft when im reallllly bored of everything else. I find myself being burned out on those games quite often over these last few years, and when I try to mix it up on D3 I get bored super fast because theres just no feeling of a point to it when I’ve dropped out of the leaderboard race for a month, and once you are farming for primals and have most of your pieces ancient and working on augments, the drops are less and less exciting and the grind just gets mind numbing since you know a reset is coming anyway. IDK 2 months would be plenty imo, 2.5 at most. The season start just feels different and the feeling only lasts for a week or two tops. I actually used to play for a week or so before a new season, just to rehearse my leveling routine, but the new changes have made that pretty unnecessary now with how easy massacre chain now, and how fast you can be in lvl 70 gear vs how it used to be with lvl 40 and some kind RNG from the mystic…
Not for everyone. Try to get on the seasonal conquest boards. If you wait a month, the only one’s you will have a chance to get on are Master of Sets and Sprinter.
thank you. It means I have 3 weeks to get to p2200. I’ve already augmented my s6 impale, UE MS and Trag’ouls DN builds and done pushes with all 3 of them (rank 1, rank 2 and rank 15 for the build LBs respectively) with a small 1-2 GR envelope still left.
Late October is balls, but I guess it makes sense. The new season will cover the rest of the year and the Tristram event in January 2025. I know I am one of the few, but I really felt that this season was a bit weak. Next season will be slightly better. But, I am really looking forward to the Crucibles season. I wanna fill the screen with Magic Missiles so I can attack the darkness.
