It should be about now? usually blizzard patch Tues (Aus time) and the season should start this Sat (Aus time). but I don’t see anything about a patch today.
Have they said when the patch will happen?

It’s not quite yet the patching time. It should be out within a few hours.
Ok, to be honest I can’t remember if the servers go down for a patch or anything like that? I assumed, and it’s been ages since I’ve paid attention to any Diablo patch, that the servers go down at the same time as WoW servers to patch.
So how does it work? they go down later to patch, is there any downtime or just DL new patch and away you go?
They don’t generally go down for new patches anymore. However if there is a new patch and you’re still logged in, then you’ll have to exit out of the game in order to let it update I believe. That said, it’s still rather early for the patch. I’d say the patch can be anywhere from 11:45am to 5pm pacific time. Usually tends to be in-between the two though.
There won’t be any downtime or anything else. At some point the patch is just deployed.
I live in the EET zone so the patch is typically launched at between 8-10 PM time for me, around 10AM -12PM Pacific. All zones get the patch simultaneously.
My guess is in about 4 hours.
Thanks guys, Well it’s just after midnight here so I’m off to bed and by the time I wake up there should be a patch.
It was supposed to have been a couple of hours ago. I expected Inna’s to be nerfed by now, but it is not, and the “patch is coming” message is gone.
Maybe they postponed the patch?
Sometimes the patch goes live after i get home 11pm cet, and sometimes it was live by now. The time is never set in stone. It goes live today, just look at the launcher sometimes if it’s dowloading or not.
A couple of hours ago would’ve been too early, as that would’ve been before 9 am pacific time. As of right now, it’s going onto 10 am pacific. So I wouldn’t expect the patch for at least another hour at the earliest. If we do get it within the next hour, I’d consider that an early surprise.

I just got booted because I “required a patch to keep playing” and that the patch will be applied automatically, but my client is “up to date”. So the server requires it now, but its not quite out yet I guess.
So, in 15 min perhaps?

You have to wait for a while for the patch, maybe in about 15 to 25mins.
Kicked me out of the game for a patch that is not in Battle.net yet so it should be any time I would guess.
