Wow, I mean we of course didn’t need a 2 week notice but a little over 2 days is kinda lol. Although it was a minority the few really invested in this season must feel a bit slighted of the short notice. However they must have know that the PTR gap time was already hitting very extreme time gaps and have prepared.

Anyway cheers BRING ON Season 30, we’ve been waiting!

As of writing this, the season on Asia region ended 2 hours 31 minutes ago. It will end on EU in 5 hours 29 miuntes, and on US in 14 hours 29 minutes.

This is really hard to believe that the season ends tonight. There really no official notice any where other than Twitter??? So if you don’t have a twitter account. It is like to bad to sad OH the season is ending!!!

There is nothing about the season ending tonight on the Battlenet Interface. They getting this lame that wait I’m playing and at 5pm PST. The game just ends no warning!!! There is nothing here on the forums that it is ending.

Players that have been around long enough use deductive reasoning to arrive at a conclusion:

  1. Patch 2.7.7 goes live Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM PST.
  2. Season 30 goes live Friday, January 12, 2024 at 5:00 PM PST.
  3. From past experience, Seasons end the Sunday before Patch. (01/07/2024 in this case).

Time to unpack my Asia “suitcases”. (I already packed my Inventory with Stash items from all Characters on all Game Modes in all Regions a few days ago).

There will be a warning. Starting from 30 minutes to season end, every minute you will get message:
SYSTEM: Season ending in x minutes.

However, it seems to display only in game - when in lobby there’s no message.

I you talk about the “general chat”, I currently have the alerts, even if there are discussions.

Besides, I have to think about asking for a pl 2 minutes before the end of the season :upside_down_face:

When I exit game to menu, there is no message, even in the log. But when I start a game, I start getting those messages.

You’re right, no messages from some minutes.
So you have to be in-game (not just in menu).

Just did a test, just got the message in “real” in-game.

Season has ended on EU.

Indeed.

I just logged in to transfer the three items I kept from the season into my non-seasonal stash and then delete the hero used in the season. The XP I gained from my seasonal play meant I had one entire paragon level to spend on my other heroes.

I have been here from day 1. This isn’t the point. They drop the ball on this. It started this way with no info on things. Since they told US that season 30 will be the last real season. This just the tip of the iceberg. It is going just get worse as D3 dies a slow death.

Launcher still says “Season 29 now live”.
What else would you expect from them.

I live on the East Coast of North America. So, Season 29 ended for me (or will end) today:
