season start server lag?

Are you on AU server?
No. NA server.
But my friends on AU also have massive lag.
EU lags alot also. Release offline mode now!

What you mean no. You can still have your online mode as it is. We who don’t care for lag and dc can go offline mode.

I had to stop playing on Saturday because of the constant dc. It was better Sunday afternoon. I figured it was the stress of the new season buff coupled with number of players on the first day of season.
It’s the as.net server(s) again. They’re currently the ones experiencing high latency spikes. Being Sunday it won’t likely get fixed until tomorrow unless luck is on the players’ side.

EU HC here. Played HC for many years, even extensively on NA HC last season with no rip, so I thought “okay this game is stable, even across regions I can push on HC”. Then all the lags in S18, many near-deaths, and yesterday a massive 10 second freeze followed by disconnect, RIP my freshly geared wizard.
I wonder if it has anything to do with the season theme? It doesn’t seem like there’s a massive influx on players, it seems like even fewer players than in S17.
Also, my latency (as displayed in-game) is relatively stable at 27-29ms, occasionally jumps up to 130 but that just seems to be a different server. Can’t recall ever having seen it going into yellow, let alone red. So it really seems some other issue, not latency-related.
Seriously doubting whether HC was the right choice this season… would love to hear if Blizzard is aware of it and the servers will get healthy against next week, or if this is related to the season theme (because then I’d switch to SC).

I am on EU servers and experience critical lags! Or I would rather call them mini game pauses… the game was almost unplayable even in solo mode… For example some extremety: I joined a group. Teleported to New Tristram. When New Tristram appeared the game stoped. No reaction till more than a half minute. My groupmates asked me what about me because a GR opening spend without any response from me…
While solo pushing with leapquake I died more times because the game just doing that micro pause, leaping process aborted, no generated fury, no leapquake cooldown…
It is very annoying to play with this kind of lagging… plz check those servers Blizz!

Today evening leapquake barb is not playable in solo mode… I’m dying because of the constant lagging… maybe it is not the servers problem. Maybe it is this build somehow messed up with this patch. Don’t know. Anyone else notice this with leapquake?
I have been experiencing lag spikes in heroes of the storm and diablo 3 whenever there was big group fights ever since i downloaded the newest blizzard app update release so you’re not alone, i even did a fresh windows re-install just in case something was running in the background but i couldn’t find squat, so this must be a issue on blizzards end. Their servers have been crap recently…
My lag is so bad that the game is essentially unplayable. Honestly thought it was an issue on my end, bad internet connection, etc, but once season 18 started, I’ve had such bad problems that I straight up stopped playing for a few months.
I’ve been trying the last few days to get back in and it’s gotten so much worse for me, latency constantly in the red, game disconnecting before I can turn in a single bounty. This was my last Blizzard game. This was the one. Now, it looks like I’m just done for good. Damn shame.
Diablo 3 Season 19, getting big time lags during GRs, not just me but everyone in fight, it happens while there is a lot of stuff going on on the floor?? Need to fix as soon as possible
Me and my friend also have lags on EU when we play, happends when we pull packs, everything just stops.
Same when i play alone With randoms. so laggy
never happend before S19
I posted a video on YouTube… the map stopped loading while I was doing bounties… it took almost 1 minute for my skills to reset.
We stopped our group play because of the lag. Time and time again, even the greater rift timer stopped … it’s a shame.
