I played WW Barb last season I wanted to play the new witch doctor set this season, it looks like it might be strong
I want to try all the new sets, so Barb WD and wizard I suppose.
I’m having a hard time deciding which to start first though. All 3 sets are pretty decent starts to the season, so I was going to look at which one of the newest set builds seemed the most interesting, but I’m having a hard time finding builds for the new season
There is lots of build guides on YouTube for the new sets, even looking at Diablo 3 one day old videos.

Well I was going to play Typhon Hydra but I don’t want to be a bum with no damage so LoD Hydra it is…pray for me for farming for that will not be my friend!
A non-ancient version of LoD is only 5 GRifts lower than a full ancient one. You just need the basic pieces and the max LoD gem
Not the way I’m playing it lol, Reverse Archon bb! Tbh it’s got such a damage advantage I could gear Obsidian first instead of CoE, so I don’t need to gear CDR, then slowly gear CDR+AD pieces, then slowly ween off Obsidian. That’s probably the play…either way it’s going to be a grind lol.

Is it possible to do a reverse archon Hydra Vyrs this season? The only thing I can see is you wouldn’t be able to use Tasker and Theo, but the speed from Vyrs stacks and Hydras lasting in archon should help me thinks?
Easily, just a nightmare to gear for optimally lol. LoD has so much freedom with the seasonal theme it’s stupid.
You don’t even have to use TnT really, you could use EF and PE, or neither, or stone gaunts if your zdps suck or not 2. Sky’s the limit with LoD + cube anything. ToV can’t do anything in comparison lol.
I’m wondering if it’s viable as we wouldn’t be able to use Deathwish bonus while in archon though
In archon? Confused…it’s not Bazooka, you’re not looking for less than a second of timing, hydras buffs are mostly dynamic now. Once you summon the hydras after your FB stacks (a second) and Dynamo stacks after you get out of archon you’re good, the hydra will keep it all and fire away lol.
A Hydra Wizzy named Covid, a WW/Rend or Frenzy Barb named Wolken, and my trusty Holy-shotgun Sader, Somers. GL and phat lewts to all!

I understand that. I’m not taking about a split second. I’m talking about summoning Hydras and then turning into archon for more archon stack build up. Deathwish and etched sigil don’t work in that form so you lose that multiplier
DW and ES don’t snapshot with Hydras
Correct which is good because of the second delay, if they snapshotted that would be bad. They’re dynamic which is good, because they’ll get the buff after a second, know what I mean?
Oh yah no doubt before that you’ll need the other dps to help kill, I mean they’re still decent w/o the channeling multipliers but definitely won’t be killing much. It does work out solo though, there was a 138 clear before PTR went off rank 4 using it, so it is possible but yah I wouldn’t use it solo lol. Think I did a 110 though at para 600 no augs lol, but godly rerolled PTR gear of course.
That’s kinda why I’m thinking this will be more elite/RGK than anything as a trash killer like Necro or WD will not only be better for trash but also give it more juice, so I’m probably not going to prioritize AD too much because of that. Honestly even before Reverse Archon part, this was not really too far behind Crusader RGK after, forget about it. I really do think it can take the top spot RGK.
