What type of attacks can you dodge?

Does dodge chance only work on melee attacks or does it work on ranged and spell attacks as well?

Also, anyone know the dodge chance cap?

It works on most things, a few damage sources are exceptions but I don’t have a comprehensive list.

Dunno if there is a hard cap, but it does have diminishing returns, so the more you have the less you get out of additional values. All in all I would not focus on dodge as a primary damage mitigation stat, it’s to unreliable.

I think the dodge cap is 75%. Not entirely sure about that so don’t take it as a fact.

It works on most things, yet damaging ground effect such as Desecrator, Plagued, Poison Enchanted abilities and seeded abilities such as Frozen build-up (frost explosion can be dodged) and Arcane Sentry ignore dodge. It fluffs the toughness, but usually flunks and falters when you don’t fish for the right layout for having enough space to completely evade those effects. So either don’t rely on it, or be sure you have tons of recovery and healing while doing so.
