Im going bat crap crazy here… what time does S 18 start!!! it seems like 5pm is the magic number. but i dont know for sure

A: Seasons go live for all console players globally Friday, August 23 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, regardless of which regional version of the game you may have. Please note that Seasonal Leaderboards for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch are still separate by hardware platform.

Started 7 hours ago for us.
Not even 3 hours into it, I got the mass notification:

whether it’s reaching GR75 or killing 350+ monsters in a single cursed event and the speed runner. I’m so embarrassed for the human race, these people take their gaming WAAAAAAAY too seriously.
7 hours after season start and I’m just lvl32 
pacing myself and going at it slow & easy. Got a Squirt necklace drop early in the grind. It’s helping.

It is ok to ask questions, even if they are simple, as long as it does not get spammy. Not everyone knows where to look.
They don’t even need to go to the forums really. The News article is linked on the Launcher. That is where I went to grab it for the OP.
Hopefully this just educates a few more folks about where to find the info so they know for future seasons.

How about a dish of cheese, crackers and sausage to go with that tea. 
Apparently not. Would be faster just to check blue posts than making a new thread, but I guess some people don’t realize that yet.
I acutally DO have salami, ham, cheese, crackers, hummus, veggies, and grapes.
Planning to make a big batch of beef chili with tomatoes and hot peppers from my garden as well as grocery red peppers, green peppers, garlic, and sweet onions.
Given I have the mats, those will also be used for Naan flatbread pizza and maybe some home made fat free burritos. Make the most out of the peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cilantro! Oh, and the fresh basil and goat cheese for pizza.

~2 hours into season on the EU region and the first people completed Curses! conquest.

Likely not, other than dabbling in it. I think I got the cosmetic rewards first time around. Classic WoW comes out Monday, and I have some Retail WoW goals to catch up on.
For funsies though, I will likely play some this weekend. I never take it seriously though. I am super casual as pretty much everyone knows. I also will never let myself get addicted to another game like I was addicted to Diablo 2.
Pretty sure I WILL be dropping in to some of the streams where people are doing marathons and pushing Conquests. That is always fun to feel a part of. I don’t personally want to do it, but like seeing others succeed in their goals.
