What is your favorite act?

For me it has to be Act I.

The connection to the other games, the zones, the lore, the quests.

And in the old ruins, seeing Griswold’s fine weapons.

Chills down my spine.

Act I. As a solo player it’s the fastest and easiest Bounty Act. Wish it was possible to do it over and over, then trade for mats from other Acts. My punishment for playing solo I guess :slight_smile:

That is a difficult one for me, because I enjoy and dislike sections of each act.

  • I enjoy world and lore so I check out everything, but I do not know if one is my favorite.
  • I do know that in act 1 I detest the spider caves, never liked it at all.

I know my least was Act II.

Too big zones, meh lore, and boring quests;

Are we going by Campaign Mode acts or Bouties in Acts?

Campaign Mode: As a range player, I enjoyed A3 due to its large wide open areas. A1 had a lot of nostalgia feeling to

Act 1 for me. Already in D2 I enjoyed Act 1 the most and it’s the same in D3.

  • D3 Act 1 for me. I also like D2 Act 1. Both games Act 1 are well designed and fun to explore.

  • The Act 2 for both games is boring and dull.

  • I like D3 Act 3 over D2 Act 3 because I really hate the forest, sewer, and durance of hate in D2 Act 3. It is not only big, it is also difficult to navigate.

  • As for Act 4, I guess D2 Act 4 is better than D3 Act 4 because Chaos Sanctuary is easier to navigate and actually a great place to farm in the end game, while D3 Act 4’s corruption made everything look dull. But in story-wise, D3 Act 4 gives a better sense of urgency though.

  • Both Act 5 are actually great for first-timer, but when it comes to replaying, it is something that I wanted to avoid the most because those zones in Act 5 are huge and take too long to clear it, whether in story mode or adventure mode.

D3 is kinda weird in that regard (in both my fav. the endings are great but beginnings are “meh”), can say my favourite places would be the Desolate Sands (Act 2) and the towers/spires (Act 3)… And yes, BoE is also great, but just don’t like the Pandemonium fortress layout overall tbh :slight_smile:

In D2, well probably Act 2 as well, IDK, I just love the gameplay being revolved around deserts & tombs I guess :slight_smile:

Hands down. Act 1. Best town layout and best story line.

if were talking visually… they all have strong points and weak points… my favourite might be desert dunes during day-time.

Act 1 is closest to Diablo of old. I like Act 4 as it reminds me of Diablo 1

Act 1 for bounties but Act 2 is my HQ. When I play solo, I’m always based in Act 2 coz everyone is so near to each other. :slightly_smiling_face:

Act1 because when the RoRG came out in RoS it was important to get the RoRG.

Back in the early RoS days all of us had to farm RoRG in Act1.
Because of that Act1 has become the most comfortable Act in D3.

I remember doing pub bounties back in early RoS and the first ppl that joined would always try for Act1.
Act1 was the coveted Act for Bounties back then.

I was waiting for someone to say ACT III lol since it is generally the last Act someone chooses in bounties lol. Armory bites because of all the doors begs for a GDO gem…or garage door opener :slight_smile: There are builds that just dont get along with either doors they have to open…or doors they have to smash.
