Barbarian’s Immortal King.
One of the easiest, if not even the easiest of them all, is Immortal King. Just keep CotA and WotB up 100% time (which is easy to do by simply spamming some fury spender) and plow everything in your path.
For crusader the easiest is Invoker. Just don’t be too powerful.
For WD Arachyr is really easy. Again just don’t be too powerful.
For necro Inarius is really easy. Once again just don’t be too powerful.
Marauder is super easy to do. Just keep one eye on the minimap so you can avoid the rockworms getting into melee range.
I usually start the season with DH (sometimes purely playing it the whole season) and I always did the Natalya dungeon. With some CDR you can even use Yang’s and the DML quiver and evasive fire most of the time and the rain of vengeance rune with the longest uptime (thanks to a video by Bannik, even though he puts a shorter lasting rune on). When the 90 seconds are over you can just blast away and finish the dungeon. Only times I’ve failed if I kill mobs too fast or if the game somehow doesn’t register me pressing the rain of vengeance button.
This season I did the Marauder (failed a few times of course…). You can google to get a picture of the whole layout to plan your way around the map. The rockworms always show up on the mini map before they appear so that you can avoid them.
One season I did the IK, and I agree that it’s easier by far.
Yeah, that’s a real issue in that dungeon. You really need to nerf yourself quite a lot to not break it.
^^^^ THIS ^^^^
Wear crappy gear. The only thing you need is some CDR to get your WotB up all the time which is not much. When you see an Elite, pop WotB and Ancients before you kill him. Easy peasy.
You’re replying to someone talking about the DH’s Natalya dungeon, with tips about the Barb’s Immortal King dungeon, and you don’t need any CDR rolls on your IK gear because you get CD from spending Fury. Scroll up a few posts to where I explain how to get IK mastery in under 90 seconds.
Recently did the Necro Rathma set. Super easy, and I hate these as much as you do.
Necromancer’ Dungeons are really easy…
You can drink a coffee, have a finger in your noise…
Ooops, sorry. Thought we were still on IK set dungeon.
Personally, I add a little CDR to my gear so I perma the WoTB so i don’t have to stall when I find another Elite nor do I have to worry if all my ancients have died. I just pop both before each Elite and a little CDR helps. And spending fury on this set dungeons is a bit hard since you kill too fast. But that’s just my own strategy.
Bul-Kathos weapons = permanent full fury. Whirlwind = permanently spending fury. There’s zero requirement for CDR on the IK gear to get this done and the 2-piece bonus on IK means your COTA last until (and unless) they die, which they won’t.
I think Sunwuko Set Dungeon is pretty easy. Completing it only took me 2-3 triesi which normally would be a frustrating experience over quite a few tries. If I were to be more cautious or could spend more time on it I can complete Mastery on it easily.
Ever since it’s revamp, the firebird set dungeon became an easy set dungeon to complete.
Don’t see wizard mentioned, so I’ll toss in Vyr’s with Messerschmidt’s.
Alternatively, Firebird’s is also very easy once you get past the annoying ‘hit 50 enemies with the death meteor’ objective without accidentally dying. Firebird’s set dungeon requires literally no supporting gear whereas you will want a few things for Vyr’s, so Firebird’s might be the ‘easiest’ depending on your criteria.
EDIT: Oblivion beat me to the punch by a few seconds!
Well Meteorblade, I LIKE a little CDR on my build. You play your way and I’ll play mine. Get off your high horse and live with it.
Apart from that, looking at OP’s EU demon hunter, a Marauder build without Bombardier’s is going to have a hard time doing much.
While not the absolute easiest set dungeons, the necro set dungeons are the easiest to master in terms of gear needed.
Elsewhere in this thread, you’ll see Immortal Kings, Firebirds, etc., but the one area that necro surpasses them is that they usually require extra gear. With the necro, you get your 6 piece, and you’re set to run them. No other legendaries needed. The first time I ran them, I only failed once running all 4, so that was a total of 5 runs. Just the set pieces, all others being yellow. And I never even looked at a guide in terms of setup of how to run them.
The only time I failed Immortal King was the first time I tried it and I was using Seismic Slam (and the rune that spends all available fury); I tried it again after realizing what the goal actually was and completed it. Ever since then, though, I basically play my Waste set build with the IK set equipped. It takes one try. Under 90 seconds.
As mentioned. I don’t find any other set dungeon to be remotely close to ease – mostly because the more powerful you are, the faster you will complete it.
The 4-piece bonus of the Immortal King set is…
Reduce the cooldown of WOTB and COTA by 3 seconds for every 10 Fury you spend on an attack.
WOTB has a default cooldown of 120 seconds.
The Boon of Bul Kathos passive reduces this by 30 seconds, to 90 seconds.
Obsidian Ring of the Zodiac reduces the remaining cooldown of one of your skills by 1 second when you hit with a resource-spending attack.
Rend costs 20 Fury which means for every Rend attack (regardless of whether it hits an enemy or not, you could just be spinning down a corridor towards the mobs) the cooldown of WOTB is reduced by 6 seconds due to the IK set bonus.
So, Rending 15 times resets the cooldown on WOTB. Now add in 1 second reduction for each time Rend hits an enemy (due to ORotZ) and you’re most likely looking at 10 Rends at most to reset WOTB. This means with zero CDR affixes on your gear, you’re looking at no more than 10-15 seconds between casts of WOTB. As WOTB lasts for 20 seconds, this means you can maintain 100% up-time on it with zero CDR on your gear.
So, it’s not a high horse. I’m pointing out, for the benefit of other readers, that your suggestion that CDR affixes are required on the IK gear pieces is incorrect. There’s zero requirement for it. If you personally want to put some on, that’s fine, but it’s a wasted affix.
That’s actually the same for the Firebird set dungeon. You can just wear 6 pieces of the set, with no required support legendary and you’re set to go.
The set dungeon requirements for Firebird are:
The Disintegrate skill alone can handle the first requirement since not only it ignites enemies, but it’s also strong enough to kill them almost as soon as it hits them (even with just 6 pieces of the set + a random weapon), so you wouldn’t even need to cast a fire spell to finish them off. Also thanks to the teleport cdr that the set offers, you won’t have any mobility issue as long as you’re casting disintegrate which you should be for nearly the entire set dungeon.
The only things that would slow a person down, would likely be running out of arcane (which can be mitigated with the right skills and passives), and/or the 2nd set dungeon requirement, which is hitting 50 different enemies with the revive meteor like TinneOnnMuin said.
But beyond that, the Firebird set dungeon requires very little beyond the set itself.
