Are we still talking about grasp buffing rend? Umm blizz I would like a 10000% to rend buff please. Speed 150s incoming.
It would be amazing if they just reverted lamentation back to 200% then found another place for skull grasp. Maybe a small buff to WW then add some utility on top of it for t16 runs.
Regarding Rend, I think we are already in a really good place: any more powerful and the nerf bat would probably be coming for us. I think next season will probably see a significant decline for Spear Nec and at least one of the two strong Crusader builds.
Fingers crossed that we continue to fly (just!) under the radar…
Ive been playing with an idea. The skull grasp ring still adds a lot of damage. Skullgrasp or Band of might just needs to be a necklace.
With the barbarians attack speed I think it is still quite powerful. But rather than changing any of the stats they seriously just need to make it a neck slot. If you go with a 5/6 Wastes, 2/3 Aughilds, RoG, Onyx, Skull Grasp in the neck slot, Lamentation, Little Rogue and Slanderer Cube: ambo, might, morticks you would have a WRend capable of pushing higher stuff. Not too high.
The reason I say this, stupid Squirts Necklace is NEVER up. and then 50% more damage taken only screws the barby. Aughild’s is one of the best things to put on a barby. But there is no way to have that and mortiks whild having the cooldown to keep berserker up. After all that survivability is an issue. For WW build you either do damage or you survive. Most of the other classes seem to have multipliers that take a mere 1.6mill sheet damage and boost it into the trillions. The WW barby has no such multipliers. I can hit 8.9 to 9.5mill sheet damage and feel like Im doing nothing on a 115. Without band of might there is no survivability. without onyx there is no cooldown, without rog you cant have aughilds, and if you can add skull grasp to those 3 you have a nice balance of extra survivability and more scaling for your strength/damamge.

WWrend barb is fine. Season barbs are clearing 132 @ 1500 paragon or 142 at 4k. Non season has three 150 clears already. Problem with most players is they want to just hold down the right mouse button and expect to clear 130. Sorry to say but wwrend has spear, stomp, and band of might. No other build or class in the game has that many OP abilities in one build. And even if they did make skull grasp an amulet that multiplier wouldn’t do anything. You would be better off using squirts or hellfire amulet. In your new version with aughilds you dont use mantle of channeling. That is a direct nerf since in your build you now wear RORG. You lose out on two very valuable damage rolls on a band of might. Aughilds is inferior to mantle. We do not do any damage to elites but rather rely on conduits to do that for us. Second thing is you will still need to run Ignore pain which means you need to drop stomp and/or spear just to stay alive. That wont ever be a version top barbs will run including myself because it is flat out inferior.
Now if you would have just said hey I think Skull grasp should be changed so it buffs rend instead then you would have my full support. It would even mean WWrend was OP.
