I was working on season start practice in non-season with Witch Doctor. I haven’t played WD in a bit. I picked up it and Monk during the period where season ended abruptly and then was restored partially. Unfortunately, I keep loosing my kill streaks by fractions of a second which lengthens the leveling time. There is no way to rectify this without the altar, and I’m starting to get bored. So, at the risk or starting up another game and becoming engrossed in it, I’m considering doing just that. Being engrossed in another game or activity is why I did not participate in Season 27.
So what are you going to be playing over the next 8 days? I don’t own a license to D4 or its expansion, and by that fact, D4 is not an option for me. I’m not giving GGG a nickle for early access so PoE 2 is not an option for me either.
Mostly Diablo IV for now. I used to play Overwatch nearly every evening, but kinda burnt out on that and haven’t been on it much the past few weeks. Was playing D3 till 33 ended the second time. lol
D4 this season (for me) has been fun so far. *shrug
Last season wasn’t that bad either to be honest.
I think I played for 6 hours yesterday (couple sessions) and a few hours today. Probably will play it a lot this weekend though. Want to get leveled up and into Torment.
Other than that? Notta. Going to be playing the eBay game too a lot. I sell on there all the time, I have more stuff to list, and go through items that are listed, clean things up. Can’t make money if it isn’t active after all.
Next week on Thursday should be exciting. Either I will win and snag a 5090 or I won’t. Will see how that goes. My nephew is ready to buy my 4080 Super FE from me! He knows I take care of my hardware, plus the warranty is good for two more years.
Anyway.
That’s what I have going on the next week or so. Actually not having D3 back yet is fine with me, but I know I’m in the minority on the forum. But fortunately the forum isn’t the only place to find D3 players.

Europa Universalis 4 by Paradox. Pretty popular strategy game set from Renaissance to Victorian time frame. Been around over a decade and they have been putting out 2 DLCs a year for pretty much the life span of the game.
Really fun game if strategy games are your thing. Very easy to lose 5-10 hours in it. Start playing around lunch time, then look up and it is dark outside.

I have been playing Minecraft this week since it’s the summer holidays.
Next week I’ll be doing more external decorating and low quality house repairs including replacing a window, installing a UHF antenna, and potentially installing a vanity in the second bathroom for funsies.
Not really gaming. But I’ll be rank #1 on the leaderboards for hitting my thumb with a hammer for reals. My medical history is lit.

I’m most likely going to jump back into Last Epoch. The danger is that I’ll get deep into that game and then have no desire to swap back to D3 or swap to any other game. LE is due for another big patch and new season I think in Feb. So, pushing hard until the end of that season is going to be hard to give up. We’ll see how this goes I guess.

Last Epoch also not bad. But monolith change after 0.8 is huge disappointment. I’m wait for 1.3 in hope that may be there finally will be procedural generation of maps.

May be playing NS to clear up something not yet done, like upgrade gems, or even turn back to my arcade games. A little bit tired to these online mess.

Will dive into the current books I read (He who fights with monsters). If I can get myself to do it, I might also finish off Darkening of Tristram achievements on some accounts/chars (missing the one where you need to kill all unique mobs).
It is now 2:10am Friday 1/24. Yesterday evening there was at least 8 ppl on my friend list playing D4. So, I think Blizz is getting what they wanted out of pushing D4 to some degree. Obviously I can’t account for those playing games on other platforms such as Steam, Epic, etc. or those just doing stuff in the real world. As of right now it was down to 3 ppl.
My brother and my son were playing Marvel Rivals. I’ve lost interest in the FPS genre for the most part. The game looks nice, but just doesn’t get me excited.
I didn’t participate in early access so I guess I’m spared any disappointment. I still find the game to be quite good.

Based on Steam charts, D4 has 18.8k players active right now. Baldur’s Gate 3 has 36.8k players active right now. Crazy. LE has 1,151.

Gonna be playing Xenoblade Chronicles X before the season gets done with. The only one I really even find fun is the one with the shards. I told you guys they wanted to get people off this game and close the servers down.

Crafted a bunch of best in slot items
accidentally deleted some good ones for thorns akkhan but ohwell
and made a couple of leaderboard attempts in teams and solos
I may take my first plunge into Warframe.
