no rune words to chase. no charms, or gems. no magic find. we use to get stacks of nephalam valor, thats gone now. its been a long time since I played. i put in a few hours an now im like cool, what next?
d3 kinda made its dungeons to small (this was a choice), its maps to small. fields of misery should get bigger every difficulty level, and it should be random.
that was endgame content. while crafting in d3 is interesting fill for end game void. all it did to me is cost me 2 mill in gold accidentally right clicking on a tomb i already taught the enchantress. and its not fun collecting flowers, an dust, an tombsâŚ
i also spent 4 mill re rolling a stat. an it re rolls the same 3 cheesy stats over an over again. so the game is now a dungeon rush an gambling for new affixes.
why do gems require more gold then you can possibly farm to upgrade?
crafting in d2 is simple. another major issue is account bound items. i mean check out blockchain technology. no item trading sucks.
so to the team thats making d4. you need big random maps to explore. requiring stupid farming stuff to upgrade gems is more infuriating then anything jay wilson hated about d2 when it was his job to play it.
I have all these gems, an to upgrade them, it would take hours of my life to farm gold, only to collect more gems to upgrade, an not enough gold.
Do GRs, level up legendary gems, do Echoing Nightmares, etc.
You have barely touched the game. Your only character is poorly geared, has no cubed powers active, has no legendary gems equipped, the list goes on.
Low on gold? Equip a maxed Boon of the Hoarder, do few T16 rifts and youâll have 1 billion gold collected in a short duration. Gold is something that is impossible to run out of.
that rating for damage isnât correct my demon hunter does about 2.5 m dps. not sure how they calculate that. come on look at that amulet, how can i replace itâŚlol. the legacy natalyas set is pretty dopeâŚtbh. ill play around a bit more an try some of that stuff out. thanks for reply.
I usually donât do this, but look up Icy Veins or Maxroll for a basic idea on the Demon Hunter. I could list all the things you are missing, but that would take too long to type and for you to read, and your time would be better spent looking at either of those sites I just mentioned.
Just like Kirottu said, you need to do some greater rifts, actually a lot of them. Of course, to get keys, lots of regular rifts. Rinse. repeat. Etc. That should keep you playing D3 for a while, unless you have 10s of hours to spend everyday.
Last thing, your paragon levels are really low. You wonât really start to see any dividends until you start pumping all your points into Dexterity. That starts on paragon 801.
alright ill check it out. its been so long since i played. paragon 801 really. i got a ways to go. knock on wood, i still aint died yet. close a few times. thanks.
Competing on the ladders is the end game. Itâs not really about loot like previous Diablo games, but more about gameplay. We could use all of that stuff though too.
You do the season until you get bored, then log off⌠wait for next season PTR, try it out and decide if you gonna play that season⌠rince and repeat
Are we really getting a âwhy isnât D3 like D2â thread? Especially after d2r? Youâre like 10 years too late
D3 isnât like D2 because D2 sucks. Itâs one of the most boring overrated games ever. Blizzard knew this many years ago when they made D3. And D4 is going even farther away.
Sing along with Elsa and let it goooooo
Weâre now having the âbattle passes and mtx are badâ vs âlive service, just cosmetics broâ battle. Get the times!
I mean I donât mind repetitive gameplay, so long is there is a carrot on a stick potential reward. D3 does this somewhat well, but it doesnât take long for those rewards to just become minor stat stick improvements. Whether thatâs motivation enough for you is to be determined. Generally, it isnât for me anymore these days. I need more itemization and/or trading.
While farming the highest difficulties and doing bounties, youâll have plenty of gold. You only have legacy Set from vanilla D3, wait 'till you have a brand new 6-piece Set collected. To add, either you havenât unlocked the Kanaiâs Cube yet or havenât archived any powers on it. Also nice gems, how long did it took you to farm Deathâs Breathe?
The game has been out like 12 years dude, I think you kinda missed the âWe need thisâ Complaining train. D4 is just around the corner though, you can make plenty of hate posts when that releases, Something tells me you will not be satisfied.
I forgot about the seasonal journey too. You get a free class set for doing chapters 1-4. I think itâs marauder this season. Maybe not your play style, but it could be a start. Can use it to grind out the regular rifts and greater rifts until you get what you are looking for.
Donât forget your Horadric Cube in Act 3 also. Ruins of Sescheron. itâs a MUST for D3. It will help you so much. Itâs a bit of a trek to get too as well. You need to find the temple, I believe. So basically you need to run or clear two areas before you get it.
The zounds of greater rifts you need to do for leveling legendary gems and finding loots will net you plenty of experience points to progress in higher paragons. After a while, you will be able to play D3 in your sleep.
D3 endgame doesnât involved with repeatable one or two zones farming at overworld.
D3 Overworld endgame content is bounty mode where you will do 25 bounties to receive special crafting mats. Rinse and repeat.
Greater Rift/ Nephalem Rift is the D3 endgame content where you will farm your gear, leveling your paragon and push your characterâs combat power to the limit. Rinse and repeat.
Get a Boon of the Hoarder legendary gem, for which you need to cube a Puzzle Ring. Equip that, as well as giving your follower an Avarice Band and Goldwrap and then gold rains from the sky.
But checking some guides is the way to go since you have lots of stuff to hunt for still.
