What do you keep in your stash?

Whenever a season ends, I have to make hard decisions on what to keep and what to salvage. I keep set pieces for every set for each class that I play, even though I know I will never play some of those builds. I find it hard to salvage ancient set pieces for some reason.

I also seem to keep way too much jewelry, How do you all decide what to keep and what to salvage? Do you create characters just to store extra stuff? Am I just overthinking this?

I keep one of every set+ its supporting legendaries, as well as some items if theyve got really good rolls and might use them. Otherwise scrap it all

TLDR version is that I keep all set items on mules, and in my stash I keep gems and legendaries I will actually use.

Anything that isn’t ancient - unless it’s a critical item and I legit have nothing better - I salvage. One of each item unless I use it in more than one build and there is a requirement to have different rolls on each (usually bracers, a couple of weapons and some off-hand items). Things like amulets and rings, I’ll keep multiples if, say, I need a Traveler’s Pledge with fire on it, one with cold on it, etc.

I don’t play non-season, so everything is melted down, unless its a godly primal item. The only thing I have are gems, high level leg gems, machines and gifts, plus all of the crafting materials that carried over.

If for some reason I wanted to whip up a NS character, I’d have plenty of materials to do it.

The best part of only playing seasons is that you don’t need to maintain your stash. No stress and no hard decisions.

I keep $47.00, a gold watch and a bologna sandwich. :sandwich:

I do not hoard junk so stash in never an issue for me.
Of my 11 stash tabs all my stuff would fill about 5 of them.

i keep the corps of my stepmother

I keep ancients and primals with good stats which can be used on all the builds I like to play (on all classes). My 13 stashes are always almost full, so at the end of every season I have to make some tough choices…

I had a total clear-out a few months ago. First to go was all my WD and Wiz gear as, with the exception of doing all the set dungeons over a year ago, I’ve never played these classes since vanilla as I just don’t like them. That pretty quickly moved onto the fact that I don’t really like Monk or Necro much either, so their gear went too. That left me with…

Stash Tab 1 - Gems, Ramaladni’s, Warden Keys
Stash Tab 2 - Barbarian gear
Stash Tab 3 - Crusader gear
Stash Tab 4 - Demon Hunter gear
Stash Tab 5 - Odds and ends (GF suit, bardiches, puzzle rings, herding mats)

The other 8 tabs are completely empty. The only thing my seasonal DH brought with her at the end of S21 was the gear she had equipped, and gems, warden keys, and a couple of primals in her inventory. I salvaged every single piece of gear she’d been wearing then deleted her.

When I do play seasons, i keep all I want in stash tabs, load up with what I don’t, then push my character until the end (of her or season). HC

If I feel like it, i’ll transfer everything I kept to a mule character before end of season.

Too Much.

I have actually been cleaning house for the past couple nights. My stash space was looking like a hyperactive 11 year olds closet after his mom tells him to clean his room…

I’m a freaking hoarder. I keep one of each set items for all classes (Ancients and Primals only) Primal weapons and gear. One tab for leveled up gems 120+ GR One for rings and amulets. All my characters act as mules. They are all full of their class gear, except the ones I’m currently playing. Even their ring sockets have gems in them to save space.

I do leave the last 3 tabs empty. I use them when I change characters and gear and one carries the gear for the Armory for my current character for quick changes.

I keep an enormous pile of junk, and refuse to spend the time to scrap it. I just clear enough space for the incoming junk from the season.

PS: you should see my garage, utility room, spare room…

I’m a hoarder so trust me you do not want to see my stash.

When season ends I keep only gems, bounty caches, gems 100+ (for augs etc), and any good rolled primals I find that can work in builds I am interested to play (or ancients if they are rolled close to perfect).

Everything else is scrapped.

So pretty much I end up having enough mats to craft / reforge whatever new items they add between seasons, and augment it so I can try the new builds and see what I can expect from them in the following season (minus season themes ofc, but you get a good idea of how it will perform at low / high para, if the playstyle is fun or not etc).

Wish we had a stable for pets xD

I keep all primal set gear pieces and most primal ancient pieces that I could have the possibility of using, I have a stash almost full of gems I use to augment primals that I use

Hoarding is essential, you never know what might come in useful.

I am a hoarder, too.Stillmaking decisions, goal only 1 legend of a piece and only useful stuff. Also I choose one of every set piece. As soon as I master a set dungeon with a set I dont play those are salvaged, but at the moment I only mastered 1 DH set, and still need to farm most sets, so no need to rush that.

Extra tipp: Wudijo made a video on youtube , how to manage stuff after season.

I keep a lot of stuff. so much so that I might be running out of space soon.
Anyhow I keep:

  • At least one of every legendary potion, infernal machines, gems, a bunch of ancient puzzle rings, staff of herding.
  • A whole bunch of jewelry, including well-rolled hellfire rings (one for each main stat) and amulets (one for each class with cheat-death passive)
  • Misc weapons and off-hands.
  • 3 sets of level-requirement-removed Cain’s sets for fast leveling and a bunch of other level-requirement-reduced armor
  • 2x most of legendary gems (though, not all of them much-leveled yet - it’s a work in progress).
  • All class sets for my 6 classes (planning to add monk in s22) with main supporting items

Plus, on a mule, I have all special blue items (e.g. murlocket, blade of rakanishu, etc) and a few legacy legendaries that I’m just unwilling to scrap (like old triumvirate)

i only play season, so i keep it strict one best item in my non-season stash. not 5 same offhands, only one so i have all good builds and not run out of space in stash.

guilty to have too many jewelry and gems but its easily manageable. girls love bling =)
i also keep unique items like rakanisu blade, vyrts leg and random pages and still have 2-3 free inventory pages.

items best to manage before the season ends so you dont have to look throught them afterwards, break all the non-ancient gear, throw away zero level gems and other stuff you dont wanna take to the non-season.
