I’m attempting to fill up the cube for my DH and this is the only item I’m missing but it’s a rare item for the DH and I’m wondering if there’s a class that this amulet is a bit more common for.
Sorcerer perhaps? But I have no idea otherwise. I have gotten it with a DH a few times, but I don’t see it often.
Edit:
Wizard.
Lord that D4 thing follows me everywhere… lol
Yeah, I’m thinkin’ the same. I see it about once or twice a season. And unfortunately, I salvaged the one I found earlier the season without remembering I’d need if I wanted to fill out the cube.
Make a level 8 Wizard, roll amulets from kadala. You’re welcome.
Edit: I’m not sure why my brain made me write demon hunter. I need sleep.
Moonlight ward only drop for wizard characters. I had encountered the same issue when i first started.
That’s not true. My Demon Hunter has found them on occasion. Even once this Season 34. It’s just extremely rare. So, if you’re farming or gambling for them, the Demon Hunter is NOT a good choice.
Moonlight Ward is a Level 11 item, which can be gambled by ANY Character (according to Maxroll).
Wizard is best choice for dropping, gambling or upgrading Level 70 Rare Amulets to get a Moonlight Ward.
Back in a day it was useful: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1cM-s4e66ql2zsrkfkfKXmvVJ4zmngzxdzVLk9gvLvT8/htmlview#
This worked. Only had to gamble 1000 shards twice to get it, which was just 2 GR 125 and 2 GR 120’s.
Thanks for the tip.
Edit:
And in the process, I was equipping the Wizard and on the second attempt with a crucible got the magic missile power. Thinking about leveling the Wizard the rest of the way up and giving her a whirl. Not sure.
I kinda want to do a GR 150 with my DH, but I’m stuck as being unable to complete a GR 147. The Strafe Impale is really fun though, so it isn’t a problem to farm more paragon. But I’m at 2500 right now. Not sure how much more it will take to get to that GR 150.
Edit: Got caught and called out for calling my DH a rogue so I fixed it in this post. My apologies.
What the hell is a rogue?
D2 <------ that way D4 ---------> that way
It’s when the Demon Hunter listens to Evanescence while wearing too much rouge.
You caught me, Nymerius. Had D4 on my brain, I guess, at least I didn’t call the Wizard a Sorcerer.
Really?
You had to? I mean damn.
No, I didn’t mean anything by it. Just meant that while I was calling the DH a rogue, I could have called the Wizard a Sorcerer in the same post since I talked about both classes. lol
This is always a fun little task to do (especially to not waste the cube power objectives in the season journey).
My NS SC cube is complete for Barb, Monk, DH, Wiz, Sader and Necro… just got a handful of powers for WD to get… the problem being that I haven’t played WD properly on this account to get all the powers. Somehow, I’ve managed to get all but 5 WD powers from playing all the other classes. Just missing:
- Shukrani’s Triumph
- Starmetal Kukri
- Wormwood
- Bakuli Jungle Wraps
- Hwoj Wrap
Gratz!
S28, I played all 6 classes (I don’t have Necro DLC) and pushed on the boards. I figured this was my chance to get all cube items in a season. I was actually able to get 75% of the Necro cube items since smart drops likes to give me Necro items for off-class drops. I got a friend to get me the last 25% of the Necro items the last couple weeks of the season, so filled out all my cube.
Hope u know I was just playin’
Was lucky to have dropped a Hwoj Wrap playing as my barb, and I have a Bakuli on a follower in NS… so I decided to gamble mojos and upgrade rare staves and ceremonial knives to tick off the last 3. All cube powers complete now!
It’s a bit sad that Starmetal Kukri, once the sought after WD weapon, is now not only an obsolete weapon but also extremely rare… must have taken me about 50 rare upgrades to get!
Lazy game design killed the SMK when they tied all WD toughness to Soul Harvest-Languish/Lakumba’s/Sacred Harvester. That skill-rune along with those 2 pieces of gear are mandatory for pretty much all main-stream WD builds. Throw in Spirit Walk, Piranhas/Piranhado, Grave Injustice and half of your skills are chosen for you before you pick what build you want to go with.
That’s Awesome, Swanky.
As for me, somewhere along the line, I found another useable primal for my UE Set, the boots. So, now, all it would take to have a complete primal UE, is Crimson’s belt and pants, and Focus and Restraint.
Not too long ago, I told someone, “Don’t go into a season thinking you’re going to come out of it with a full set of Primals for a build.” Lol, this season has made a liar out of me. To be clear, these aren’t perfect primals with all the right stats, but in most cases, they’re only missing one stat or none after re-rolling at the mystic and the ones that are missing the perfect stat have good second options. That’s what I mean, when I say, “useable” primals.
Edit:
I also completed a GR 147. Good enough to keep in the Top 10 on SSF DH Leaderboards at Rank 10. Everyone ahead of me has completed a 150 though and have about 1000 more paragon than I do. But mentioning that, I did pass 2900 paragon and I’m thinking I’ll have 3000 before the season ends.
