Funniest?
Anything that relies on life per hit, lifesteal, and life per second but then equipping the items that remove these effects (or being level 70 in the case of lifesteal.)
Most fun, not funniest (one is the superlative of ‘fun’, the other of ‘funny’). Proper grammar/usage is important.
The builds I consider most fun are UE multishot, Manald heal archon, and Frozen orb.
Loved all of these too!!! They all got trashed… ugh it’s like Blizz just targeted Witch Doctor every time it got something fun!

Static discharge gen mk and the 4 monk meta in s4. Good old monk days.
Bonespear necro. I know it isn’t all that different and flashy compared to many others but I had so much fun with it, something with the setup of your rotation, Bone Armour stun, Blood Rush back boom boom spears was really fun. The build just clicked for me. And the Brigg’s Wrath version was maybe even more fun even though I didn’t play it nearly as much. The feeling of getting that great large pixel stacked group was great.
Also really enjoyed the UE Elemental Arrow with Kridershot and the quiver that slowed down the lightning rune years ago was very fun.
But probably the most purely fun build I ever played was the first one I had when I got RoS. Back when getting legendaries and set items was a grind and I built up some charge Boulder Toss abomination. Build up fury, charge in whack them with a boulder.

I really had to think about this one.
It was a while back after the LoD gem was added to the game. I had my old account. Anyway, I got the burger from the whimsyland via portal from doing solo bounties. It was an ancient one and I think it had int on it. I was a Barbarian, so I didn’t think anything of it.
Later on in my bounties I found an ancient pair of fart pants. I put them on since they were un upgrade to the yellow pair I was wearing. I found another ancient weapon and it was really bad, but it at least had 3k damage on it so I used it.
When I was sorting my stuff in town, I put on the burger to hold it there, but I forgot that I had it there after I finished sorting all my goodies. I had a blue ring with a socket it in do I put the LoD gem in it because it was the only gem I had after Bane of the Powerful.
So as I am doing more bounties and rifts I am finding more ancient items, but no set items. I used them because they were an upgrade. I was almost decked out with ancients and I started doing low level grs for different gems. I was leveling the LoD gem on accident thinking I was putting points into the Bane of the Power one.
I was tearing through these lower grs and thought I would push this as far as I could go. So I had the LoD gem leveled to 25, the Bane of the Powerful, and the Tear Drop gem.
I even kept playing with this makeshift LoD build well after I got my set pieces that I was looking for because I was having way too much fun pwning mobs with a burger in my hand, farting on them, and blasting them away with free holy bolts. FRIGGEN HILLARIOUS!!!

For me it’s Barb LoD Avalanche. Wasn’t a high GR build as only managed a 90 with it solo in HC but it was pretty awesome just watching chunks of rubbish continually falling from the sky.

I agree that OP probably meant ‘most fun’, not ‘funniest’.
One of my friends played WW Barb while I played the fast TR Monk.
We called that pair ‘Lawnmower and Weedwhacker’.

In no particular order my top 2 by class
WD - Jade and Spirit barrage
BARB- WW and Leapquake.
Crusader- Condemn and Bombsader.
Wiz- Chantodo Archon and Meteor.
Monk- Exploding Palm and Inna’s.
DH- Multishot and God.
Necro- Bonespear and … I can’t think of another necro build I actually enjoyed playing but I will go with Rathma if I have to pick one.
