What are the changes to the seasonal buff?

Hello, Blizzard team I was wondering what changes might we expect when the team makes the hotfix this week? Are you adding a previous season buff? Will we keep our stacks regardless of what mobs we kill during a Grift, or will it stay the same? Will there still be an animation-delay on the season buffs which causes us to lose our stacks.

Blizzard has not announced any changes at this time. If they do, they will likely announce the details when it goes live. They have to get it tested and working first. There is no schedule given for when that might be.
