What about DH and Necro in S20?

In the “Balancing and Class Design” Thread the devs themself said its clear that the Necromancer and the Demon Hunter are underperforming and needs to be adressed. How come that exactly those classes are getting absolutely nothing (again) in the upcoming PTR?

We’re definitely, totally, extremely aware that Demon Hunter and Necromancer need help. And we want to do that right. The class sets for those two classes simply weren’t ready yet, and these ones were. Sometimes, that’s just how the production timelines end up working out, and it’s much easier for us to focus on 2-3 classes at a time rather than trying to spread ourselves thin across all 7.

I do think both classes need more attention than just their class sets; I don’t know how fast that process will be, or when precisely it will happen (nor the specifics of what we’ll be doing just yet). What I do know it’s very much a constant discussion, and we’re always reading and hunting down feedback for a variety of changes, whether they’re for right now or earmarked for the near future.
