When you did Baal runs in hell difficulty, how often would you even bother to pickup gold? maybe a big pile here and there. Now on your way to Baal you will automatically grab gold.

What I said is valid even in this simple example.

starting hell mode , outside of gold barbarian , i don’t think gold pick up are really valuable.
I mean most item on the floor can be sold for 35K
which is huge compared to those tiny pile of gold on the floor.
Only elite pack actually gives a decent amount (6k with alibaba) other than them it’s really tiny piles.

As for the topic itself , the definition don’t really matter , a word and it’s definition won’t change what the game is and what the game will be.
the devs will decide in the end , not the definition of the word itself.
