Apparently you perception of Asian is limited to south and east Asia. The majority of middle east is on the Asian continent, and monks were more common in those regions until recent days.
I read that the purpose of the WD mandingo nurf was because it was the highest bestest wd set and to far better than all the other wd sets.
BUT but
seems wd needs to get a BUFF to the other sets and
make mandingo a little more powerful to get in line with the other hero types . You eliminate wd from group play … sad wd day nurfed again + sad eyes emoji

D3 monks are from fictional Ivgorod which sounds strangely similar to Novgorod or any other “gorod” which literally means “city” in many Slavic languages. D3 monks have pretty obvious “Slavic” accents. Again, I’d know what Eastern European accent is. The Wiki describes monk’s appearance as Eastern European medieval monk in Shao Lin outfit.

Buddhism is practiced around the world. I am not surprised any one of east European descent practices it, and I would not call it a whitewash. You are the one who bring it up.

I just checked the patch revisions and still no alterations for WD. So, I suspect this nerf will go live.

And that’s really what I meant, it’s kicking the class when its down. WD is already the weakest class overall (Take away Mundunugu’s and its a bit of a joke in comparison power wise) And this nerf is chipping away at Mundunugu’s.
I feel WD as a theme would be best suited for zDPS with all the CC effects and whatnot but we don’t even have that option so WDs are stuck doing damage, but the least amount of damage in all areas… groups, solo, trash, elites and RGK.

Not anymore… 
The ptr update is already out and they completely missed wd and left the nerf. Sets to necro, wizard modified and dh did more damage to primary skill, so it will be good again, but why don’t they leave us wd?
It is weak on boss killer, on tk too, on speed gr it is also useless. It will be weak again and useless for everything. Why wd you not like blizzard so much? After all, he is a complete poor man. He only has bracers on the defense, which gives him the least damage reduction of all the characters and he will still be weak !!!
I won’t play the next patch all over thanks to this wd!

In fact i want to buff it to equality with the newly buffed wiz. Who has this great love that keeps putting the wiz back to the top of everything? I see only DPS in 4player meta is WIZ.

Just tested my own personal numbers between Live and PTR:
2,539 Paragon
Live - Cleared a 133 GR (back when Mundunugu’s was released.)
Live - Currently cleared 123 with great ease and could clear 130 with maximum effort and a bit of fishing.
2,779 Paragon
2.7 PTR - 133 took me 5 minutes to kill 1 small pack of trash
2.7 PTR - 130, no (bout the same as 133)
2.7 PTR - 120, no (still not even close after multiple attempts)
2.7 PTR - 115, yes took maximum effort and lots of fishing but was able to land a good map and clear in 13 minutes 58 seconds w/ easy RG.
For me personally it’s at minimum an 8GR nerf, max 15GR nerf.
From what I understand the groupthink is that the expectation of the governing party at a baseline is to have WD consistently underperform in comparison to other classes while also giving WD the lowest build diversity as far as the metagame is concerned.
Maybe though this is all just “perceptual segregation” and everyone who has complained on the PTR feedback about the treatment and history of WD (including the fact that WD was explicitly excluded from Diablo Immortal) are wrong and experiencing some kind of imaginary group psychosis? Oh hey look it’s Mass Hallucination (ironically another neglected WD skill)
I’m done ranting.
Honestly I want to promote good things in the world and in this game. Please just undo the added nerf. I want a buff to another build. but I’m not even asking for that right now. Just reverting the change should be easy enough and will feel less oppressive to WD players.
