That’s the way it works for all this season (sadly). I do tend to kill a lot of the champions who spawn with spinners though. You have to be fast and try and kill them before they start to spin, pause while they spin, and then try to knock them out when they stop again. It’s not too difficult (if you play softcore). It’s tricky if you hit a Conduit pylon because the flashes will cause any bells to explode and hit you. As a monk you also have a high dodge chance and a serenity period that can help you stay alive.
Of course there is also the possibility to skip them.
Yeah. I skip spinners during high GR runs if the pylon wasn’t a shield.
They completely redefined what WoL does with the sanctified power. It’s unclear if they intended for them to be projectiles. My guess is they did not, but that’s still how it landed. Normal WoL is clearly not projectile based.
With st andrews gage your shields will take the insta gib damage. If the gr is too high to kill them in one rotation turn it down or teleport away to fight another day.
Just asked Wudijo, and he confirmed that it just acts like extra hp pool. So you will still get 1 shot.
The example he gave which puts it in perspective is wizard’s deflection. this gives you a shield for like 3% of your hp. If it worked as you suggest, then that 3% would absorb any single incoming hit. This would be ridiculously overpowered.
Normal you mean non-season?
I’ve played LOD wol for 3 seasons, this is the first time that I constantly get one-shot by spinners
The real winner of this season’s buff are Spinners
Sanctified WOL = one shot yourself
Sanctified Magic Missile = one shot yourself
Sanctified Fist of the Heavens = one shot yourself
Sanctified Impale = one shot yourself
LON Darts = one shot yourself
Its weird that boulder toss is not a “projectile” while WOL is considered
