Enjoying the last season so far, but wanted to make a comment on an issue with the Visions of eternity realms that pop up during bounties. They are actually pretty cool getting you rift keys and extra bounty mats.
Problem is that after you complete it, the thing kicks you out back to town! WHY? I’m running bounties on SSF and i have to travel back to the gd bounty in order to complete it?
I’m sure the trolls will say, just complete the bounty first and then do the portal, yet again I have to TRAVEL BACK to the portal in order to do it, which is a complete waste of time. Sound like Diablo 4 all over again lol!
I really enjoy this feature and I really hope this is something they can hotfix by kicking you back to the bounty in front of the portal.

Yes that definetly has to change. It should open a portal when the last floor is finished, that brings us back to where we went in.

This was brought up multiple times during the PTR. Sadly nothing was done to remedy this.

T7 fissures gave us 33 mats, T16 bounties gave us 22 mats. It isnt a big deal to leave those bounties unfinished. You goal this season especially SSF is diabolic fissure, not bounties

You do need to complete quite a few bounties in the season, either for the season journey, for drops like the RORG and Avarice, or for vendor recipes. Eventually, yeah, we can stop that in favor of the fissures, but that’s not immediate.

Need a way to turn it off. It’s frequent, intrusive, and in my way.
It seems like they slightly lowered the spawn rate from PTR, but then doubled and even tripled down on the bounty mats and GR keys.
Visions is the thing to do, they probably did this to make it a worthy theme. It’s okay if it’s better than bounty’s and T16 rifts since it’s the last theme.
Bounties are literally just for the items now, and once you get that then not a lot of reasons to do them besides doing something to get Visions to spawn rather than nothing. But yeah don’t think we didn’t say anything about it on PTR, it is annoying to backtrack.

The spawn rate is so often you can leave them if it’s too far to back track. More often than not it spawns pretty close to way point. It’s still pretty convenient.

Tbh we should all just be thankful they’ve even continued with D3 at such a fantastic price/hour of enjoyment at least we’ll always have D1 and D2 and D3 so we can all die happy. There’s a good reason why it’s called Reaper of Souls and it’s not the obvious one.

Right so really this is a minor flaw, especially if you get a Vision that drops 60 bounty mats each lol, it’s like what was I really doing again? Oh yeah looking for the next one of those!
They should have stopped “fixing” things years ago. It’s got more layers of fail than I can count. It would have been trivial to fix the drop mechanics instead of adding all these bypass mechanisms that have made half the game irrelevant.
It is frustraiting early when you are huntign for RoRG and Avarice Band. Some people also go for Gloves of Worship so that’s 3 items (4 really isnce you need RoRG twice for most builds, one for yourself and one for enchantress). So that is 4 items that are annoying to farm early on.
Also, might aswell complete the run and get some more mats out of it any way.
Unless you need a specific bounty legendary, which my build needed 2 of them this season

You have to quickly run back!!! It works!
However…
Yes, there is a caveat after all, it was working fin in T4 and below… but when I jumped to T11 and my visions started to get really deeply nested… 30 seconds ain’t enough to go back!!

There is a “wrokaround” of sort though.
Just before entering vision, TP to town and back. When you’ll be regurgitated in town, the town portal will go back from last TP location!

This is why I eventually plan on doing rainbow gob hunting. I doubt I’ll get a rainbow gob before a fissure opens though.

This season should have been called Trials of Focus… coz it’s a test on whether one can stay focused on their objective instead of entering the fissures every time they spawn.
Remember, you don’t have to go in just because it spawns. You don’t even need to backtrack… just reload your game after you’re done with bounties. Eventually each of us will be done with bounties and will be glad the fissures spawn so frequently.

Agree, but its also a weighing game, you have to pick what to trade off. A lot of times the portal spawns BEHIND you if you are on an efficient fast mobile build. Backtracking towards it is also backtracking, no different than you backtracking it from town in my opinion. The spawn rate is so high, you dont have to attempt every portal spawned.
Avarice, since the beginning of its appearance, I never done it with bounty caches, only cow level
Vendor recipes, maybe it’s my luck, but 1 single goblin pack inside fissure gave me everything, literally
Fissures, I hope they make this feature permanent, because it trivializes both bounty runs and normal rift runs. Well you do have to completely each act bounty once to complete seasonal chapters and a few more time for specific acts to get some bounty specific items but that’s it.
P.S. I do agree with OP though, it should open a portal that returns to your original place before entering fissures.
Agree. Between running fissures for all mats, gems and GR keys, and then GRs for xp, blood shards and leg gem upgrades, it’s a pretty good system.
If they did this and started closing the fissure after you step through the portal, then that would be good.
Personally, I’d like to see Fissures opened from the obelisk in town just to make them efficient. The core end game activities are all accessed from town anyway.
