I was trying to log in on one of my secondary accounts and messed up the password now the account is locked how do i fix this
The lockout is automatic after a certain number of failures, especially from a new IP/device. Having an authenticator on the account reduces lockouts FYI.
The lockout is usually an hour. Trying again during that hour will reset it so leave it alone.
There is another lockout that is security based that requires you to reset your password - so feel free to try that if you have access to the email. It does not sound like you have that or you would have gotten a specific message telling you that and telling you to reset your password.
If you end up with a perm lock for account ownership you may have to put in a ticket with ID, but that is not common.
