What will ladderer be famous for now? I was glad that runic items have now become both for single-player and non-ladderer, but what will ladder be now? Can add unique highlvl content events? Or events that will go on as the season progresses. And every season there will be something new. It will be cool. My opinion. I apologize for the English.

Anyways: For me the only reason to play Ladder has always been the fresh start and competing for a spot on the leader boards.
I always disliked the Seasonal Events in D3, so I would prefer if they didn’t try to do the same in D2.

Yes, now runic words will also be available for non-ladder.

i think ladder should be an opportunity for players to test their skills in competition. not a reward with extra items. kinda like d2’s version of the olympics. i mean, i wouldnt say no to a special item that you can only obtain in that ladder or so, but it should be very limited and not the focus of the ladder.

Well, actually, yes. UNIQUE items that you get ONLY ON THIS ladder and only if you are really cool. In the next ladder, make other awards, and the previous ones will remain on the NONladder only for those who have achieved and earned them. It will be really interesting! Plus, they really promised rewards for ladder.
That would lead to hilariously high prices and gatekeeping in the Non Ladder PvP scene.
And that is one thing that I hoped we would be able to overcome in D2:R with 08 items, bugged items and Hybrid Runewords being gone.
Ok. Then I’m wondering what the ladderer rewards will be. we’ll wait.
Why would you need any kind of reward?
Imo it’s all about having a fresh start and competition on the leader board.

so nl gets ladder items too

i thought of it more as a gold medal or ceremonial sword you hang on you wall. nothing usefull, just a prove of status or so
