I believe they were just taking a jab at Blizzard for the delayed D3 PTR start.
They were using the threat of delaying their purchase of the D4 Expansion because the D3 PTR was delayed. Their reason being: “We have no money!”
Personally, if they can’t afford a game expansion, they should probably save their money to pay their real-life expenses. But, that’s just my opinion.

My guess is, tho I could be wrong, PTR works perfectly fine for Mac users, but not PC users. Hopefully that is not the case. That would just suck on all levels. Focusing, once again, on the smaller % of consumers vs. the opposite (where the money is) is a recipe for failure, looking at you Hollyweird (especially Disney).
Mac user here - we are still waiting for PTR as well

I’d almost certainly say this is a Mac issue. The PC version has had no real reason for any significant update. If it was a PC issue, chances are every other Blizzard game would be affected.
If I had to guess, I’d place money on some graphics issues with the newer APIs Apple has, deprecating calls that were used. I really can’t see the processor issue being a problem, unless it was for something like the anti-cheat or encryption of the executable.

The funny part about of all this. They said hey we are going to do PTR. It is for Mac and we the PC people to help out. But wait didn’t they test it first before the launch date.
OH wait that is right Microsoft is laying off around 650 employees in its gaming division. It isn’t I don’t have the money. It is I don’t have the people!!!
These latest layoffs mean Microsoft has let go of 2,550 staff from its gaming business since acquiring Activision Blizzard.

How can you expect a company worth 3 trillion dollars to be able to afford a few million to pay people for hard work?
You guys need to really start thinking about the billionaires. How are they going to become multi-billionaires if they are constantly giving money to thousandaires for doing some hard work.

Been there done that!!! I work for a company that was #1 in the world on wholesale plastic products “Sweetheart Cup”. The owner was going to retire. He thought his kids wouldn’t be able to run the company. He sold 51% of the company to a toilet paper company “Fort Howard”.
The first thing they did was fire the sale force. They said they didn’t need them because we already have one. So in three years they went from #1 to like #15.
Do you see where I’m going with this. Microsoft is doing the same thing that other companies have done. They have their own people and don’t need Blizzard People!!!
You have to stop and think about this. There are people on here think they are the ones that know everything about game and life stuff. The rest of US are only the stupid low life’s that come here.
