Undoing Altar choices in Season 30?

Ones optimal path does not mean optimal for others. I dont need mats or pet auto pick but unlocks team play potion power ASAP. What ever it is it can be work on here:

You can reset, export link, take a picture. whatever you like. Credit goes to Caleko.

Btw, click on the node and pick your own optimum path.

Without a recourse to do what? Correct the mistake. In my examples, how would one correct a misclick that amounts to an honest mistake? Just to be clear, prevention is not correction. Prevention is left of zero and correction is right of zero.

Do you guys not posses reading comprehension? Bountiful replacements and alternatives are not a corrective measure. Workarounds are not a corrective measure, they are an alternative means. Iā€™m not asking for alternative means. Based on your example, using an alternative means would amount to recovery mechanism for something outside of the alter itself.

Corrective measure not work around.

The above is the dumbest thing Iā€™ve heard in a while. If I said to a friend ā€œI canā€™t go homeā€, without any additional information to provide context, there would be no logical reason for my friend to assume that:

  • I broke my leg thus disabling my ability to walk
  • I donā€™t know where my home is
  • I have a fear that if I go home that a foreign country will drop a thermonuclear device on my home

If said friend attempted to inject their assumptions into the conversation, I would questioning what is going on or what is going wrong in their head.

Assumptions are NOT oppositions to a position they are assumptions. One canā€™t have a conversation with another party if either party is going to impose restrictions, exceptions, exemptions, and subject altering changes into the conversion at random. It would have been simpler to ask for clarification instead of injecting your assumptions. Please donā€™t inject assumptions or try to ā€œinterpretā€ the meaning of my words. There is no hidden meaning that requires interpretation. I spoke plainly.

Thank you for emphasizing and implied side point. Please direct that at the other participants in the discussion. Thank you for the link.

With all nodes available regardless of order, the mistake will be corrected for the reasons I already outlined.

Of course they are in the case of D3 and its altar.

So still, I donā€™t see a need for an undo option.

Thatā€™s why information is offered in a back and forth discussion. Yes, assuming all those scenarios would be strange without more info. Problem is, youā€™ve attempted to tell people not to provide their information by writing them off as ā€œassumptionsā€.

Thatā€™s how it works, and by feigning otherwise, itā€™s just implies to your audience that youā€™re scraping for anything to stay afloat/to stay correct in your thinking.

That said, Im not going to argue about youā€™re attempts to dismiss and prevent people from discussing their counterpoints by universally labeling them as ā€œassumptionsā€ just to protect yourself from them. Thatā€™s just an unfortunate tactic that youā€™ll choose use/not use no matter what anyone says.

You correct your ā€œmistakeā€ by choosing the right node for your next sacrifice. This is not rocket science. And the only ā€œassumptionā€ I am making is that, even after a 6-month long season with the Altar, you havenā€™t learned from your previous ā€œmistakes.ā€
Happy hunting, Nephalem. May the RNG gods bless you. :slightly_smiling_face:

you need more than one click to unlock the node.

Just make sure the node you want is selected before unlocking.

Itā€™s not rocket science.

Worst case scenario you unlock it next step.

This is made into a bigger thing than it really is.
