in 3 different rifts now, ive died, just as ive killed the Guardian, my player portrait shows im alive, but my Death flag/carcass is right there, NO options pop up to ressurect/return to town Etc, i cant move, i cant loot, my only option has been to leave game and log back in, losing ALL my loot, shards, everything,

I just got out of the bug by identifying a leggo I got that rift, cancelling it, and teleporting out.
Not a fix or a probable solution but it got me out.

How did you ID an item while you were dead? You do not have access to your inventory…
You must be talking about something else like not being able to teleport to town while using Stone Gauntlets or something.
