I have about 10 of the Large Horadric chests that I have won from doing bounties in Season 24 however I am unable to open them. I drop them on the ground and nothing happens. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the Battlenet and Diablo III programs and still it doesnt work. I even installed the Battlenet app and the Diablo III game onto my laptop which the game has never been on before and still I could not open them. I am not able to complete the last item in chapter III without being able to open those and getting the items I need to complete that task since that is the only way to get the items for the transmog using the tube to get the legendary items. I would appreciate your help so that I can go into chapter IV before the season is over. Thank you very much
Have you tried to right click on them, while they are in your inventory, as that is how you open the chests, iirc.
Your non season wizard has Promise of Glory bracers selected in Kanai’s Cube, so you must have opened caches in the past to get the mats for extracting the legendary power…
Not a bug - pilot error.
- Put the caches into your hero’s inventory.
- Ensure the Stash is closed.
- Right-click the caches to open them. (This is why Step 2 was important as otherwise right-clicking the caches would just put them back into your Stash)
Yes I was able to open the caches in the past when it was just a coin type bag that he passed us. I have not been able to open any of them since they were changed to the chest, so no its not pilot error tyvm.
Well, you say you are dropping them on the ground. There’s your problem - don’t do that. Right click them, not left click and drag/drop.
