Hi i’ve never played seasonal before i’ve always just been playing with a non seasonal character while learning the game.
Decided to try seasonal and created necromancer. I did the challenge rift and was successful and then i’ve gone into the game. I can see the challenge rift reward but when i press x nothing happens. What am i doing wrong?
you did nothing wrong, if you created the seasonal guy, than completed the weekly rift and went back to your seasonal guy and pressed ‘x’, check your inventory (i dont believe it tells you, you claimed it - it just pops in there) under the “bag” icon
did you create seasonal character BEFORE doing the CR? If yes, log into your seasonal character and go over to the CR pylon next to the GR pylon and claim it.
If you did the CR before creating the seasonal character, then your seasonal character CANNOT claim it. A silly design if you ask me…
Silly way the game works unfortunately. Never got why it functions like this.
I doubt it was a deliberate design decision tbh… still it burns most people at least once.
Just get used to creating your character and actually starting a game (you can log straight out again) before you complete the CR.
Tbh… I’m not sure if logging your new character in is required, but you definitely need to at least have a seasonal character created… I’m possibly just being over-cautious.
Well I created my seasonal hero, then switched to challenge mode completed the rift and logged into adventure mode.
Pedestal has my reward displayed but will not let me claim it. It does not go into inventory

I don’t know why this happens, but it has to do with you not going into the adventure mode once before doing CR.
Just quit and continue and now you can claim the reward.
