I have tried all the steps. Now I am basically unable to play any games that I have purchased from Blizzard - Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and Warcraft 3 all don’t work. Starcraft and Warcraft haven’t been working for several months and weeks respectively.
As you will find out, Blizzard will “… refund paid games or expansions within 14 days of purchase, as long as you haven’t played for more than two hours.”
I’ve been having the same issue for a few days now. Same error message with error BLZBNTAGT00001389. My Blizzard app itself is up-to-date. I am on Mac OS Sonoma 14.7. I updated and played Diablo III last week without any issues, but this latest update constantly fails.
I don’t know if the Mac issue is the same (or related to) as the one on the PC, but Blizzard advised just now that the BLZBNTAGT00001389 error code when attempting to update games is under investigation. That error code hasn’t been reported in the Desktop App Mac Tech Support - Blizzard Forums however…
You may want to follow that topic for updates… if any.
Blizzard seems to think this issue is now resolved; if not, chime in.
You should probably post on the Mac Technical Support forum… since the last patch was mostly Mac related, it might be that Blizzard will be watching that category for issues.
