Enough is enough. Bounty quests should only complete if the character is in game when each bounty is completed. If someone is not in game during 1/5 for any act, that act should not offer the quest completion to that player. The player must be there during all 5/5 bounty completions for the act.

Wow thats actually a pretty good solution. This would fix cheaters from using their 2nd account (bot account) to farm bounties for them but would not stop cheaters from using their main account to do solo bounties with the Bot program. Still, its a decent idea. Would be better if the D3 team just implemented a better anti-cheat program that can detect and ban cheaters instantly though.
They will never stop botting completely… why? Because they don’t want to… why? Because they would make less money. Every so often they will ban some accounts… why? Because the ones they ban are either now inactive or will buy a new account anyway. Why start up another ban botting thread disguised as something else when you already know the outcome?

As a member of my clan, I often play “Bounty DH” for my clan. Sometimes I like to run some bounties and other members of my clan are busy running Grifts or Rifts for keys.
So I run them myself, but feel it would be a waste to just collect them myself when I could invite a few members of my clan to share in my reward. I mean, me getting caches is good, but me and three other members of my clan getting that same reward for the work I put is tons better.
So no. Blizzard should in no way interfere with my ability to play “Bounty DH” for my clan!
Wouldn’t that be a huge issue for public bounty games? Part of the players get in when some bounties have already been completed, through no fault of their own, so players would have tons of incomplete bounty sets.
I’m not in a clan but sometimes I like to do bounties alone, because I want to do it calmly.
When the “end” is near, I open to public, like that, some players have to do a very few quests to benefit from my “work” and get caches easily.

And no it won’t end botting, because people would still bot on their own for bounty mats AND paragon.

While not entirely terrible idea per se, it would still do nothing to curb botting. A lot of people bot, even solo.
Rather than potentially punish legit players, I’d concentrate on other things, like making effort vs reward more equal between solo and group bounties.
I think its technically hard to realise. 1st man have a 4 bounty. 2nd connected just now and the first did the 5th quest. Both will stay in the same game. What will happen? For 1st man and will engine allow 2nd to complete other 4 quests. It seems more to work and more server lags in the result.
Joining a game to collect caches slows down your progress when u farming gr. Pretty much only worth it early on when u got bad gears. Bounties arent rly a issue. Bots for key farming has more impact i would say. But again GR is what matters. And bots doesnt do rats

I can’t believe that I have to explain this but…
When you’re in a clan, you’re basically on a team. Most of our clan are strictly DH’s but some dabble or main other classes.
Just on the DH boards, three of us are in the 55. I’m 55, another is rank 20, and our clan leader is something like rank 11.
This season, I decided to play as close as I could to ssf. I joined one game where a clan member invited me to a Bandit Shrine when he was running bounties. The other game, I was running bounties and found a Bandit Shrine and invited some clan members to share in that.
I was running bounties and they offered to help but I only needed three of the five act’s mats. So they ran Acts 1 and 2, while I ran Acts 3 thru 5. Other than that, I was on my own.
I quit the season a few days ago so I haven’t been on and dropped something like 30 spots. But you can check my and my clan leaders paragon and see that we’re relatively low paragon with under 1500.
The other has been playing other classes for paragon and pushing with them too, and coming back to push the DH boards as well.
Point is, we compete with each other as well as the other people on the boards but help each other out too.
Anyway, we all win in our own ways and it’s cool to see our clan name well represented on the leaderboards.
It’s proper for you to give aid to your clan. It’s what clans are for. I hope you’re getting the benefit of whatever your clanmates are doing too. Many hands make light work. Don’t be baited by the unworthy. They’re playing a different game.

Another option would be to mute accounts such that they couldn’t chat nor group play. Removed from leaderboard participation.

This proves my point I say all the time. All this game has become is it is All About Me Myself & I. At one time this was a team played game. Today it is all a big Free For All.
I play the game to help people when I can. This show he doesn’t care about helping people. Yes there are Bots in the game and deal with them.
If you are in a game with 3 people and one of the bounties is done close it. Then nobody can come in End Of Story!!!
